  1. Past hour
  2. I managed to get hold of a blu ray disc online of the documentary
  3. I listened to this album a lot in January... "I Remember LA" can make you feel really sad and wistful if you listen to it, I wish we had a live performance of that song. I wonder if the songwriter of "Refuse to Dance" every discussed the origins of the song. Also "No Living Without Loving You" will randomly pop up in my head haha, so catchy -- but I agree about "Loving Proof" and "Real Emotion" being forgettable.
  4. Same with the Mason Trent song. Guess they don't have permission to use her vocals? Unfortunate though because both are great remixes.
  5. Koolan my block list is no longer working, please look into this asap please!
  6. Today
  7. So many new people signing in now!😃 Welcome, can't wait for all the new conversations!
  8. My favourite tracks of this album are some of the deep-cuts, like 'I Remember LA', 'Love Doesn't Ask Why', 'The Colour of My Love', 'Refuse To Dance'. I like all the singles too, especially 'Only One Road' and 'Just Walk Away'. Such gems in her catalogue! The only songs I dislike are 'Real Emotion', 'No Living Without Loving You', and maybe 'Loving Proof'. They are also the least streamed. I think the album would be a lot stronger without Diane Warren's contributions. Unpopular opinion, but I also find 'Next Plane Out' to be the weakest ballad of the album. Not a bad song, but definitely not great either. To me, the exact opposite applies to 'Celine Dion'. This album was carried by Diane Warren's songs, no coincidence 4 out of 5 were released as singles.
  9. Hello everybody Happy to be able to sign in ! I could not since... 2020?
  10. Celine is not listed for the A. Hall Show in early 1994. Strange https://m.imdb.com/de/title/tt0096537/episodes/?year=1994&ref_=ttep_ep_yr_nx
  11. Is it possible to allow users to delete their own messages now? That could be helpful.
  12. TT is indeed a mystery to me. I read as well that the way sales were counted back then was questioned. However, to me, there's no way that it hasn't reached 2x platinum by now whatever the way they finally chose... And on the other hand, how can BYLM be 2x Platinum ? More than half of the total sales ( 1,200,000) came from streaming... Fair enough, BYLM streams are way higher than TT but the physical sales of TT could fill the gap... IDAN went silver in July 2024 in the UK for 200.000 sales. It was not even a single in the UK and has less streams than TT... So in my opinion, TT has at the very least 200.000 sales on top of what she sold in 1994/1995... I don't know if it's a mistake, if a new TT certification is around the corner or they simply don't certify the singles from that period with a fuzzy sales counting way...?
  13. That’s great! how come so many of you couldn’t post? Kev x
  14. I’m so happy to finally join the discussions after reading you for two years! I became a Céline fan in 2019, and you might know me as @celinedion.facts on Instagram. Looking forward to chatting with you 🙂
  15. Shouldn’t there be dedicated and designated people within SONY music to make sure their artists are certified accurately? It’s just a lazy thing, she isn’t a new and upcoming artist this is the legendary Celine Dion and the team doesn’t really feel legendary, the energy doesn’t match.
  16. Nice pictures from Philippe Schlesser ( source Peterjhenshaw) Eurovision
  17. I am not sure why 'Think Twice' has not been certified 2xP in the UK. There was an issue with how sales were counted back in the 90s or something like that. The main problem though is the US market. Celine has many singles without certification that are eligible for either gold or platinum.
  18. I think I’m getting old because the dark theme is easier for me to read now at near 40. 🙃
  19. Some pictures are small, I couldn't find them in a bigger size
  20. I wonder if she opened the entire first North American leg of the tour with WDMHBN followed by ETMBD and swapped them for the March shows in Canada and kept it that way for the remainder of the tour.
  21. well I'm the one who edited it and changed it to March 3, 1994 lol. It used to say August 3, 1994 but that would be impossible. Also the VMAs performance is not real and I reported it to setlist fm last night.
  22. A bit off topic but i got slightly distracted by the setlist of her show at O’Keefe Centre (above the Arsenio Hall) that included Refuse to Dance, i’d love to see a footage of her performing that song in 1994
  23. 'A New Day Has Come' will celebrate its 25th anniversary next year, so everything is possible.
  24. Many many thanks who everyone who made this possible! The new format of the forum is amazing. It's a bit different tho, I am still confused, but anyway more better than the previous one 💙 Now, that we have a new and fresh forum, let s hope we would have new material for Celine this year to discuss
  25. Yes to view the content. The payment aspect by a good chunk of members is something that might be hard to collect so I get it. I’m familiar with platforms such as Plex that let you build your own library and server, but I actually came across this open source server called Jellyfin that seems compelling. What are your thoughts? https://jellyfin.org/
  26. Do you think they will upload the performances from the 2002 A New Day Has Come TV special? I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
