Hi guys, I have a little question about the "A New Day Has Come" Special at the Kodak theatre in 2002.  I need to know where exactly was the place of "Goodbye's the saddest word"  in it? And if possible get a tracklist of the entire performance, as it was, not just the seven tracks aired on CBS. Could somebody tell me this?:)

G(TSW) was performed and recorded but it was cut in the editing room so it wasn't broadcasted on TV. But you can get the vid in IRC. :msn-wink:

I guess you're doing a VCD of the show and wants to add the GTSW in there...

Sadly guys the performance avalible was included on a single at some time but it was edited and does not include the original soundtrack. She sang it live during the concert, but they edited in the studio version over that on the video so it seems lipped...

I have no clue what the reason was for this, no clue at all.... It is so pointless...

Did she sing it badly?? Anyone knows?

Yes, I know all of this, guys, thank you. I just wanted to know if anyone knows the exact order of the songs sung during the special, so I could find the place of GTSW in it. I've heard that it was broadcasted with the entire special in Europe.

I do not care if it's lipsynched, or eddited in that way, though I hate that. I'm just making a treat for myself and a friend in Bulgaria. It'a actualy very sad, but my native country is a very Celine-hostile place. What I mean is - for instance I'm sure that the ONCP album is not yet released in Bulgaria...and it won't be any time soon now... Finding videos like this is virtually impossible. Downloading them - also. For example when I'm home (in Sofia) I am able to download from this forum, but I risk breaking my nerves, because the speed is ... you don't wanna know...Anyway, I think I should stop, because that's already another topic:)))

No it wasn't broadcasted the intire show here in EU? (with Ten Days, Right Infront of You and all) All I heard is that it included a live version (really live, no dubbing) performance of GTSW and thereby making it the rare and only live performance of this song - but no one recorded it?!?! Why?! And that performance was the only thing different from the rest of the world. If I remember correctly this performance was limited to Germany only...

I have neve seen this concert in full and HQ  :cry:  and it would be such a dream to see it with every performance sung live included....

Ohh yes, Aún Existe Amor was also sang in that special, and I think Céline sang it LIVE, as she did with all the songs?

But I'm also in Spain, and here they broadcasted the edited-special, they didn't put the entire show :angry2:  :angry2:

If I remember right I do have the entire show because I recorded it from German tv too years ago, but I am not sure if GTSW was live... I dont think so! I will go and check and let you know later on!  :bye1:

How come I live in Europe too and didn't have Aun Existe Amor on my TV special?
I'm gonna KILL the TV station that broadcasted this because, in case you don't know, Aun existe amor/l'amour existe encore is my favourite song in the world!

He, thats great, L'amour existe encore is my favourite song too!  :thumbsup2:  For many years now, because of its lyrics and because she always sings this song with all her heart (remember Show pour la vie, I still cry when I see that)

By the way, I think only Germany broadcasted the entire show. In Holland we got the edited version too, but we are lucky because we can receive SOME German channels too. But I checked the tape and both performances are definately PLAYBACK!  :ermm:

It would be very nice if they released a DVD of the Vegas-show too, as they promised. And it would be nice if they dont make promises that they cant keep... But hey, this is an old discussion, Sony isn't nice!  :rolleyes:
