Anyone in the path of this storm besides me?  :shocking:  Waiting to see where it is going before evacuating this time!  I know it is going to be bad...but hoping we will only be getting a little wind and rain!  The evacuees from NO that came here are being displaced AGAIN...to Arkansas.  Will update if we evacuate, too.
Please pray for all of us while you watch the weather channel and news broadcasts!  Thanks!

My prayers are with the victims.  Its already a category 5 hurricane with 165 mph winds, like we didn't get enough with Katrina.

This year has been crazy! I can't believe there has been so many hurricanes!

Thankfully I am not in the path of this hurricane, a few days ago people were saying it was going to hit here, but now it's moved up north (about 5 hours from here).

My prayers for those who are in the path of the hurricane, I hope they'll be safe!! Posted Image

2 Hurricanes in such a short timeframe  :o it's going to dump more rain in NO :down: They're saying that this is the 3rd worse hurricane in the nation's history.  :shocking:

It's a nightmare....I have no idea how it is TO BE there where the huricane....I can olny imagine and watch it on Tv....and still I can't belive that such  things are happing.......I'm with you

We had to evacuate AGAIN!!!
We have been staying with some family up north and don't know when we will be able to go home.  I know that the school is closed at least for another week, as they will not even let us back into the parish.  I don't know if I have anything to go back to...  and I am really sad because all I brought was pictures and clothes.  I was so freaked out...I just threw a bunch of clothes in a suitcase, my photo albums in a box, and grabbed all my important papers..and drove to get away!  I left my entire Céline collection behind, as well as my computer.  Though I do have several Céline cassettes in my truck and my five yen coin that I got from Team Céline.  Pray for us...and I will update as soon as I can, as I am using a friends computer to let you know that me and my daughter are safe!  Love you guys!

Hi, everyone!
Made it back home yesterday afternoon...and OMG!  My house is still standing!  I have some roof damage, my daughter's bedroom window got blown out and two trees fell but thankfully not on my house!  One tree split in half and my privacy fence is destroyed...but I think I was VERY lucky, as my house had minimal damage!  Finally got electricity last night!  YEAH!  So, we didn't have to sleep in the dark!  It was so good to sleep in my own bed again!  Anyway...just wanted you guys to know that we are safe!  Thanks for all your prayers and words of encouragement!
