I am now choosing a song that will be used in my lesson. I want to use Celine's songs. But I have no idea which one to choose.
Any suggestion? And any reasons why you use that song?
Thank you

Yeah, depends on what the subject is, what is the level of the students.
When I was in the 9th grade my french teacher brought us "Pour que tu m'aimes encore". She played the song, we had the lyrics in front of us and we had to fill the blanks and then she translated it.
It's an amazing fantastic song but it was a terrible choice for a class since we were only level 3, the vocabulary was too advanced for us, we didn't really learn that much. She should have choosen "L'amour existe encore" or "Je danse dans ma tete" or "Des mots qui sonnet" or even "Vole" because those are much easier.

I think that "That's The Way It Is" is a great song to teach. Why? Because it talks about not giving up on your faith and that's what you should teach to the students. What level or grade are you teaching and what is the subject?
Faith!
Right beside you is where I’ll stay
Oh faith !
Just take me as I am... so please... have faith!

Yeah, what are you using it to teach?
Beautiful Sin - My Elizabeth Perkins Website!

We might kiss when we are alone... When nobody's watching... We might take it home... We might make out... When nobody's there... It's not that we're scared... It's just that it's delicate... We might live like never before... When there's nothing to give... Well how can we ask for more... We might make love in some sacred place... The look on your face is delicate

The level of students is pre-intermediate (junior high school students)
I'd like to teach grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure or whatever. It depends on the content of the song.
I thought of "my heart will go on", and wanted to teach the present tense. But, my groupmates didn't like this song. Now, i have to choose another song.

That's the way it is
The first time ever I saw your face
Live (for the one I love)

Let us know how the lesson turns out.
