I am not sure if this is the right thing to do and whether it will be published or not. but anyhow a strange feeling made me to share my thoughts with you. it has been years for me since I joined this forum for the first time! I knew not much about Celine and her love in my heart urged me to dive deeper and understand her better! so I found this place where I could find answers for my numerous questions. actualy the very first one that I posted in here was like : does anyone know what Celine means? ( well you know I was new) but surprisingly I got my answer I always did. years passed by and I got obsessed with Her more and more. Like many of you I experienced different stages in my life with Celine songs. found one of my best friends in here. fell deep in love with a girl in college just because she looked like Celine! collaborated with another friend in here to cover "I'm Your Angel" and we dedicated it to my best friend- whom I mentioned first, because she had just lost her dear mother! put my effort and all my feelings to make some drawings and photo arts about Celine! motivated my friend to make some remixes of her songs and . . . ! and now after years I'm here, grown up, married, having a job and drowned in daily routins wondering where and how all these sweet things started? how could it be so strong to last that much? though I have lost most of my feelings and energy but still some strange feeling links me to this place . . .

i think your strange feeling is nostalgy apparently.All these great memories you mentionned came back to you because time goes by so fast, it's like a fast wind, you don't realise how much life is important and so short until one day you begin to realise, before your thirtees, oh my god i grew up now, i'm a man, do you see what i did in twenty five years? you're someone passionate and you live your life through passion, but maybe since you have your baby and your wife, things are different than before and your priorities have changed, now Celine is less present but your heart is full of love of your family;it strange how we change, how life turns into something else, but that's the way this life is; Celine Dion is an artist, she's here to make us feel great feelings and sensations through her voice, and to put a song on a souvenir, a date, a moment in your life, that's the true meaning of music, that"s why music is so important in our life, and celine, because it help us to live through emotions and dreams,and to follow our life

Beautiful declaration. I think sometimes we get lost in life with all the things we have to do and responsabilities and our problems....but deep within the essence, we don´t change. Celine touches you in your essence. Who you really are it´s connected to who she really is. Celine is real, true. She´s love. And I think that is this love that connects us and keeps us here....

I love this topic, thank you for having the courage to write it. I think with anyone, love goes in stages. Some days we're madly in love with someone, other days we can barely stand them. Over the years my love for Celine has only deepened and I am so sad whenever I hear people say they have lost most of it. Yet when it is true and deep, just hearing her brings it back, always. I am glad everyone is here and hope that it always will all come back to us now! LOL just had to.

This topic is really good! I think for a lot of us we've liked Celine for a long time. She's pretty much the only poppy (well SLS is as poppy as she gets pretty much) that I like. The others really aren't they good. I love Celine and I always have. She's a really good singer, and has nothing but improved over the years! And everytime I find a new performance I love it! Her music is clean, and she's an amazing singer. Even when friends may come and go, we've always had Celine if that makes sense. It's nice to be able to talk to others about it, you know?

sorry to hear that.. I am sure that will change sooner or later and you will be happy with your life!
As for me, I subscribed to this forum a year before the Taking Chances Worldtour and I still love being here.
Talking with each other about our big passion, which is the love for Celine and her music:-)
We may or not always agree with each other, but it is fresh to hear someone else's experience, opinion, point of view.
And whenever there is news Celine related, I know I will find it here.
For instance,because I knew Celine was going to perform in Antwerp, I had the opportunity to get tickets on the presale, something I would not have known so early when I would not have visited this forum.
Part of my daily routine is reading the topics on the forum or sometimes make my own post regarding some topic.
Internetting each day is not complete with being here at least one time a day ;-)

It does make sense. Friends come and go but we always have her. We can always rekindle our love for her if we lose it. It's just buried, it never dies. "And I know, my love will stay." Sorry, anyone who really knows me knows I quote her any/every chance I get, isn't that right Celinedionfreak?!!!!!!

I haven't been on this forum very long, but I did get a flood of memories when I started listening back to Celine's music this year. So I guess I can relate to that part of it.

What a wonderful topic! This is my first time back after being away for AGES. This place definitely had its ups and downs,  but I certainly think that it's helped me to grow and evolve. Every experience we experience whether good or bad adds to our life story, and I'm definitely grateful for the ones I've had here.

Been a Celine fan for a good 12 years now, and I my love for that woman hasn't dissipated at all. She still holds a special place in my heart, as do many people on this forum. And despite not having spoken to them in awhile, I'm sure when we do, it'll be like we just had a chat yesterday.

It's good times. Really.

I remember being on here year's ago and especially being in contact with a special person I got to know my life hasn't been easy since I left here so I'm glad to be bk again and getting to know u all again xxx
