25 years of "All The Way...A Decade Of Song" - November 2024

I agree that I am your angel would probably just be removed and not replaced, at least in the US. Wasn’t there a version where that song wasn’t included to begin with from some other country? I also agree with the person that said all the way needs to be made available on streaming platforms. The only reason I had it is because I had to buy the full album on iTunes just to get that one song. I had added it to my Apple Music library previously in hopes that it would’ve been available. Years and years ago, the duet was replaced with one of Frank Sinatra‘s versions on Spotify. It was the same version that they used for the duet, but he was talking towards the beginning, haven’t been able to find it since though.

The thing with Dolby Atmos, is that they sound a little muffled in my opinion... maybe it's because I don't have an Apple device... but I like the 360 R.A. mixes a lot more...

Some of the songs do yeah. I noticed on Falling Into You, some of the songs where she pronounce the "S" sound is really muffled. If I remember correctly, Call The Man is completely butchered. It sounds like she has a lisp on the Atmos version. Go listen to it. Another song that is completely ruined by the Atmos/360 mix is the Si je n'ai rien de toi. The last note, which is normally amazing is ruined.

 

I have heard Dolby Atmos with and without an Apple device, and it doesn't seem to matter. I also thought the Atmos/360 mix is the same just different branding for different services. I haven't really noticed any quality difference between them.

Yes, they're the same... the difference is that 360 R.A. has a lot more "channels"... up to 24... while Dolby Atmos is 12.

Actually, you can play it on your home theater speakers if your receivers can play dolby atmos. It doesn’t sound muffled at all

I heard both versions of Beauty and the Beast on Apple Music. Disney version and Album version.

 

The disney version sounds like taken straight out of the movie credits. The voices really focus on the center channel and the mixing is bad. The voices are too dry. forward. And some instruments are mixing here. Like it’s really taken straight out of the movie credits. Because in films, during end credits. The movie version some take away some instruments and has different instrumentations and voices are more dry. Examples of that are “There You’ll Be” and “Then You Look At Me”.

 

The album version which can be seen in Céline’s channel, is much better. Better mixing, voices sounds more pleasing.
