She soundsAMAZING on all the songs (she was singing so much in this one!
) and her oooohhhhhoAAAllalalaoooooahahahahah was just pristine and HIGH.
She did NOT say she would return to Vegas, it's the journalist who only IMPLIED it in the voiceover showing Vegas scenes. Celine clearly said (as in other interviews) she wants to come back but there is NO date. And nothing about Vegas / concert / residency was said.
I would LOOOOOOOVE her to do a country album!!! I hope she didn't say it just like with the Spanish album before. I really hope she is gonna go there! 1f4t is kind of country and I loooooove it.

I hope she comes back to the powerhouse clean vocals that’s she capable of again. Her voice now is better than we’ve heard since 2011.

She said her voice is being rehabilitated. I wonder what that means in practical terms, what specifically she’s working on. She didn’t really speak in detail about it.

I think and I’m assuming, that means she’s moving away from the nasal technique that she was forced to use the last few years before she stopped… because now with the right medications and probably having a vocal coach she’s capable of singing the way she was used to in her earlier years again. I don’t think means she’ll sound like she did in the late 90s again but closer to that but with a 56 year old woman’s voice. It’ll probably be more reverb and clear vocals, and stepping away from the “bedroom voice” that she began doing around 2013. I think it’s safe to assume that the Sia/ rasp was done purposely now to compensate her new vocal technique at that time. I think she was trying to sell it as new vocal approach to sound more modern at the time but now it might be safe to assume she did it to try to keep the “nasal” technique evolving in her projects.

Hmm she got a little more like she was in 2016-2019 and that was weird for me compared to the other interviews we have had recently. Guess she was getting that vibe from the interview compared to the others who she has talked too.

I know there are much more important things to focus on, but man, i Really like her house. I don’t know if it was pushed around for the camera crew or something, but it’s got this gorgeous like… Victorian backstage vibe or something like you’ve just come off a Callas performance and are chilling in her dressing room at the Palais Garnier. Which, well, isn’t far from Celine’s own life lol

Wasn't this part of the interview? Didn't have the time to watch it yet.
New Vegas show
She can now finally see a way back to performing, and has been preparing for a new show in Las Vegas.
"We have been working so hard to put this show together, because I’m back," she says with a huge smile.
It is clear she has missed performing terribly.
"I’ll be on stage. I don’t know when exactly, but trust me I will scream it out loud.
"I can’t wait."

I just loved hearing her say ‘taking a joint’ 🤣🤣
I don’t think this BBC interview showed the extent of her physical troubles and suffering and just focused on the voice

I love when she started talking about today's pop. Start smoking, take a joint.... lol! I call it mumble pop and I'm not a fan but hey, that's just me.

Yeah, it wasn't very special. The interviewer follows Celine on IG, but I wonder if she did before meeting her for an interview...because it didn't give even casual fan energy lol. But I got a sense with that last question that the interviewer was fishing for Celine to sing a little bit of Billie Eilish lol -- probably her popular song "What Was I Made For"

After hearing all this, it looks like Celine overused her voice to the maximum till 2020 in addition to having SPS. But even without SPS she would suffer greatly from overusing it

Yeah, it was lame and the reporter looked super awkward when Celine was singing and going off…
There was no mention of the fact that she literally has been in physical agony

For me it was interesting (or tragic, honestly) to hear her talking about the irony of how pristine she’s kept her voice and therefore the far greater loss now with SPS.. than if ‘all’ she was doing was whisper pop

yes, that was very interesting! Hearing that she was jealous of others who party and don’t care about vocal health and still being successful was a deep insight, I always wondered how she feels about that as she has been so disciplined all her life
I hope Celine appreciates that although the younger stars have fun and they’re still successful, none of them are known for their impeccable and unforgettable vocals. All the work she has put in has elevated her to the top spot, none of the modern bunch are ever reaching her.

From a while back but just getting around to posting it -
Nice article in The Times from Emma Vardy, who did the BBC interview.
Partially about Celine’s Olympic comeback, but really more about Emma’s experience interviewing her in Vegas.

“Suddenly from within the suite, I heard singing. It sounded happy and carefree. Although distant, the voice was instantly recognisable. “Is that Celine?” I asked the security guard on the door. “She’s been singing all day,” he said.
[…]
Before the interview started, she burst into impromptu vocals, singing “BBC” to the tune of the Jackson Five’s ABC.
[…]
She leaned towards me and put her hand on mine. I got the feeling she cared very much about doing a good job, whether on stage in front of thousands, or for the short time that she would spend with me.
[…]
I hope she walked off that stage feeling enormous happiness to be back doing what she loves. I think she has earned it.“
