But it should have already happened, several times. But you re right it would make even more sense now. And that d what we get. It feels useless and stupid, and reduces again the credibility of her repertoire even more now.

Diane's songs are not always perfect work of art. Io Sì (Seen) is even something different from what she's used to write (it's not a power ballad) but it's perfect for a soundtrack full of emotion and little things that warms the heart (and Laura gives her best towards the end of the song).
Unfinished Songs is one of my favorite Céline's songs! Definitely one of the best songs she's recorded in recent years. Her voice is full and not modified, a pleasure for the ears. At the end there are incredible vocals from her. Lyrics are simple but with a meaning (nothing new at all, but quite new for Céline's standards) the melody is very pleasant and the multiple background vocals, expecially after the bridge, takes the song to another level and make it rich.

Superwoman sounds good. Céline's voice sound a little bit old but I need to hear the whole song. I don't think it will be the best song of the album. Neither the best sung one. Maybe the one with best vocals here and there. In any case Sony Legacy should release "the best of Celine Dion and Diane Warren" as they did with her works with David Foster.

I was thinking the same. She's not taking the obvious way, but she could do a "Dion Chante Goldman", a "Dion sings Steinman" and a "Dion sings Wicked" album.

I think the first arrangement of the song, I believe the movie version, was so much better but they did no it justice with the second one that came on the lmbtl album. I wished to have the other version on the cd.

I'll have to give the movie version a listen.

And I agree with above posters----why doesn't Celine try an EP? She probably could have done an EP from 2016-2018 and then shaved off some songs from Courage and also not have made us wait so god darn long

This is honestly the point in Céline's carreer that can really upset me or I would say, makes me sad, even unconfortable. A big part of her english repertoire. I can't with the fact that she chooses such generic songs. And know that I see the hypes she can generates, some artists out there looking at her.... And her making this particular choice, now ? Bringing such a generic, outdated, dull production ? That really makes me sad about her artistry.
A bit upset also cause she is just the biggest vocal instrument on earth. This is just what she is. Her musicality is out of this world. She should have been an object of experiments for so many different composers and so many styles. I'm more than OK to have her in a mainstream pop vocalist field.... But how can we not have even one EP, 2/3 songs in a whole 30 years carreer that really brings something else ? A particular collaboration for one song, an EP maybe, just one album ? With a jazz, Opera, metal, gipsy, acoustic, orchestral, avant garde, underground.....Put whatever you want. Something that would attract a new crowd or a new eye and reviews by new magazines, journalists. Aclaimed or not. We have absolutly nothing. I don't think I can think of any other popular world star like her with such a generic repertoire. They all lived, experienced at one point in their carreer, for one song, one project, collaboration, EP... This artistic collaboration that brought something else. Like, there is a failure somewhere in my mind.

I know! They are taking their time releasing this album.... it was being promoted more last year and now nothing. Is Teamceline behind the promo of this albums too haha run for the hills Diane!!

Are you expecting some kind of perfect perfecshun?

In general, the music industry shifts so many deadlines it's wild! Then we have the pandemic on top of that. But I know Diane is a very persnickety person and she is very responsive to fans on social media, so I am sure we can squeeze the answer out of her

Maybe they heard what we said about the diction.... I mean, sharing honest opinion is how it has to go, but Celine has a sensitive heart I'm sure...would never want to hurt her feelings.

Yes, she has recorded "Falling Into You" twice because she was unsatisfied with the first version she has recorded first 😉
