Some people could be wrong she could definitely be there live in NYC the day of the tour... it’s a morning show she could be back to Canada and the venue by 11am... odds are they’ll be done rehearsing morning of. I think a new single might drop the Friday after the start of this tour.

Speaking as a performer myself, I would never allow someone to schedule me to appear live on a TV show...the morning of my opening night...in another city!! Mad props to Celine if she’s live on the Today Show but I’d bet a bazillion dollars it’s a taped segment.

We're up for a tsunami of media appearances in the coming weeks that we haven't seen in years. Exciting times to be a Celine fan!

I'm very curious to see what tone the press is going to take with this new album. She has had so much love recently for her fashion and attitude; I wonder if that same sentiment is going to be reflected when it comes to her music.

I'm surprised how skimpy it's been on the social media front. They certainly posted more in the lead-up to the last few summer tours.
Perhaps they're running behind with rehearsals and are focused on making sure everything is ready to go.

I don’t think it will be filmed, either by satellite or live is my guess.

She may be at the venue to record a segment with the Today Show , who knows... or you’re right could be the night before they record something at the venue and show it the next morning.

I think it depends on the quality of the album. It won't recieve praise if it's just the same old same old. But they will mention it more than ususal, if you ask me. But if it isn't great I don't think they will talk about it for too long.

Yeah none of these people follow her the way we do so they think something she's been saying like a broken record for 5 years is something she said in full confidence only to them. :giggle:  Ah, the hubris.
In all honesty, kudos to her through, for selling it so well all these journalists think they're special. :-D
