Even though I LOOOOOVE and long for Céline to step out of her box, QPVSA sounds almost satanic to me.

Totally opposite for me, I really like all those songs. If her new music is similar in any way I'll be happy. Actually, I think I'll be happy with just about anything, power ballads, rock, pop, "edgy", etc lol.

No wonder she has a hard time deciding what songs to put on an album!!  I guess we’ll hear/see the new songs tomorrow and decide if we’re all still going to follow her :giggle:

RTD is great but when I was younger i used to describe it as “freaky” lol. It can be rather trippy at times. I also find moments of Ordinaire to be rather unique... yes its a ballad and its french, but the way she attacked it so gutturally and with genuine rasp and “pain” in her voice. It hit different

I always skipped RTD when I was younger too, my youth didn't let me appreciate it fully.

I also used to skip Seduces Me, thinking it sounded "dark, boring and depressing". After a while I came to love it though. Thankfully. I think it's one of her best tracks ever.

I don't find Ordinaire to be that out there….. A bit "dark" and "angry" too :giggle:  But also quite passionate. Reminds me a tiny bit of LBDBM. Ordinaire is not a bad song but nothing I return to.

Love her look here. It's a shame it's for a morning show like Today, GMA..ect,ect just because it'll be short and sandwiched in between something and the weather, just for example. That was a great 35 sec clip but really nothing we didn't already know. She's said it all before. I have always wondered what they considered "edgy", lol! Plus all these interviews are notorious for showing clips of MHWGO ect while she's talking. Irks me to the hilt! Oh well, I am glad I'm off tomorrow to watch it in peace and quiet with a good cup of coffee! Bring it on Celine, wow me with NEW info! :wub:

I suspect you'll have more than just a cup of coffee. You know how they keep stretching it and saying Celine coming up soon... And soon is always at the very end! :P

I remember myself hearing in a younger age "Seduces Me"
and could connect mostly to the way she sang and delivered it
she has the talent to deliver emocions like no one else.
Imo too, one of her best songs to date.
The live versions are also very special.
