love her debute album!!! really good!!! some of us posted her stuff on Celine's new english topic!! lol
i think her voice sounds like Beyonce and Leona Lewis combination! lol

She is a great singer. As soon as I heard Heaven I knew I had to have her album. And it doesn't disappoint.
My favs, besides the aforementioned are Next To Me, Daddy, My Kind Of Love, Read All About It and Mountains. And as for the artwork Maybe it's the black and white, or the background they use,  but it kinda made me think about how effective Unison is as a cover too.
Apparently she has even written a song for Subo!

I just wish in a way, she hadn't had so much success so early on. I kinda wanted to have her as someone only a few people had heard of for a while, like it was when i discovered Celine. (not that im comparing her to my Celine of course, no one gets that honour) Oh well...

Does anyone know if she is planning a tour this year?

yes i think she's really good / amazing! and she wrote all her songs!
there's one song in her album call Clown which i feel it's kinda close to how i feel here's the lyrics from the chorus

i'm those kind of person that would make everyone happy make them laugh, and i'm almost always selling out everynite!

and i have to say so far this album is the best for this year! love every song!  hope she'll get nomination for Grammy or so!!

Last night I was listening to her album again and I realised her upper register reminds me a little of Rihanna'a voice...but without that irritating nasal sound.

I think she's fantastic - I've had her album basically on repeat constantly for the last month or so and I can't get enough of it! Next To Me, River & Heaven are definitely my favourite tracks but I love all of them - there definitely isn't a single weak link on the record!

According to Billboard, her "debut album “Our Version Of Events” (Virgin EMI/Universal) dipped 3-5 but spent its 63rd consecutive week in the U.K. top ten, its entire lifespan since its February 2012 release. That beats the Beatles’ 62-week run for “Please Please Me” as the debut album with the longest unbroken top ten sequence in British chart history. “Events” has now sold 1.83 million copies in the U.K."

Nowadays it's hard for an artist to have two simultaneous hits at pop stations in the US, but "Next To Me" is already a Top 20 radio hit, and "Beneath Your Beautiful" is moving with strong gains towards the Top 40!

You guys should check this out- the woman can sing anything! This was from Jools Holland's Annual Hootenanny which is a live music show played on TV over New Year's Eve every year She should definitely sing swing more often!

Someone on here posted a video by her when we were talking about what we would want LMBTL music video to be...whoever you were THANK YOU. I had heard her before whoever you were posted the video, but I forgot about her.

It was this video and I just LOVED it! It gave me chills when I first watched it. It's very creative.

Edit:  I actually had seen it. I just found it again and like that one too! I don't know which I prefer. I think the one I posted grabs my attention more though.
