She looked / sounded frail during this interview, in my opinion:



And she also looked quite frail for the Carpool Karaoke (which is unfortunate because so many people saw that) and at the Ace Theatre event.
I was concerned for her during this time.

I was watching a documentary about the Carpenters last week about Karen having an anorexia. And I was thinking does Céline have it? Does she knows that she’s getting a lot thinner than before? (And i think I read somewhere that losing too much weight affects the voice as well).

Because I remember when someone asked about her weight and she admits it and said “little thinner than before”, but in reality she lose so much weight.

Isn’t Anorexia = thinks that you look fat so you intend to lose more weight but in reality it’s the opposite.

I think she needs to stop doing ballet. Maybe it’s one of the reason of muscle spasms?

Yeah I didn't want to bring that topic of anorexia up. I do not believe that for one second. I think with everything that happened with her lately and her loving dance that it just contributed to her weight loss.

I don't think she needs to stop doing ballet, if that's one of the reasons for the spasms, yes, or then she could do bodybuilding which is great too.
She was always thin, more normal thin, but in recent years she was very thin, I don't know if it's anorexia, she says it isn't, maybe she just needs a better diet, a diet rich in protein and carbohydrates for her to build mass lean, muscle.
I wonder, does she have any follow-up from a nutritionist, she was doing so many exercises to have a nutritional follow-up too.

That’s what I was thinking. She looked quite muscular, yet very skinny, therefore I assume that she was working out, but I also suppose that she wasn’t eating enough calories

I’m guessing that Celine signed on to work with L’Oréal in advanced to her looking (at her worst, in my opinion). In my opinion right after Rene’s death, she looked great… of course physically I mean, she was a bit heavier and looked younger in the face… I think shortly there after is when she lost the Weight. I’m wondering if the L’Oréal deal was in the works 1-2 years before that. Because it was ironic that she was chosen when she looked at her worst, in every area they tapped her for.

Yeah because I think these type of deals take time between inking the deal and the final airing. I'm no expert in that area. I think she looked wonderful when she won the Icon award.

She has explicitly said that she does not have anorexia. Also, people really exaggerate her weight loss. She's always been thin and her weight has fluctuated over the years. I don't think she was much (if at all) thinner in 2019 than she had been at certain points in 1999 for example. There wasn't any "huge" weight loss that should cause concern; it was just a time then she was slightly thinner, and now she's less thin again.

Carpool Karaoke was decent. I think her makeup and lighting play a big part too. She's always looked fantastic on stage during her concerts, even in early 2019 when she didn't look so good on the street for example. The interview above is just an example of a time when a lot of factors came together to make her look (a lot) worse than she could have done.

My opinion only. Comparing her “weight” from 1999 to 2019. I think she’s much thinner than before. Even in early 2007, she has better weight then again she lost much weight in dec 2007 at the end of A New Day. Then, in 2008-2009, she gained weight again (see links) then in 2011, she lost weight again (reason breastfeeding - i think she said that before)

I think one of the reason why she maintains her thin figure because of Ballet - and i think it’s one the causes of spasms. Imagine the amount of work with her muscles to do that (song for you video during her courage tour). That statue dance she did was amazing btw

The comments on YouTube are comparing her to a corpse…it’s so hard to read. The hair was obviously the star of that ad but the tanning really accentuated her facial features. They should have used a filter just to smooth everything out.

She looked healthier around the time the Courage tour began. She was very thin at this time.
