I've already seen her upfront in Vegas last November, didn't know she'll pursue the Asian Tour this year. I might go with the Gen Ad this time though. :)

I wanted to check how the pre sale process worked and here is my observation: although I pre-registered on the smtickets site, at 10:05 am I was told no Céline Dion concerts are available... 10 minutes later, somehow all front SVIP tickets were gone =))...fishy!

My crazy reservation story

I was ready at exactly 10AM Manila local time to make my reservation, had made an account on SMTICKETS.COM on beforehand, but because I was so nervous I mixed up data from two credit cards when I got the most beautiful seat SVIP D8 ...

Of course the seat was gone when I tried again to book the seat using correct card information

The best I could still get was a VIP seat... all SVIP seats were gone at that point

However, a bit later, I checked again and precisely then all the seats of row SVIP C must have been given free. They were not available earlier or already taken

I tried to not stupidly mix up card data again and managed to book a seat in row SVIP C mid-stage

Conclusion: Les derniers seront les premiers ? 🙂

Yup thats what also happend in 2014... all VIP seats have already been reserved to sponsors and probably government officials beforehand...

Folks, I feel somewhat guilty because prices are way up and most locals are in no way capable of spending their money on a ticket this highly priced. So what did I do to help ? I *unconditionally* booked a seat for an online Philippino friend of mine. We had been in contact long before the Manila performance was first talked about, dreaming of meeting one another on a beautiful day. I remember sending him a Christmas card only a month ago when the tour wasn’t a thing at all, writing him as always to not give up on the dream of meeting. A few weeks later, as it turns out, we will meet in July of this year. Oh irony, or how life is full of surprises. And thank you, Celine! Can we now have a picture with you ? :hmm:
