Hey! I'm Derrik! I'm 16 and live in Tennessee. I've been a fan of Celine since the age of 3. My grandmother had A Decade of Song in her car constantly, and I eventually starting learning the lyrics to the songs and really getting into her music. Since then, I have been a fan. I've never gotten to see Celine live, but it's on my bucket list! Here is some information on my Celine tastes:

My Favorite Celine Song?
It would be either "Misled" or "It's All Coming Back to Me Now"

My Least Favorite Celine Song?
I would have to say that it is "Because You Loved Me"

My Favorite Celine Album?
This may be cheating, but I'm going to go with A Decade of Song. It's what got me into her music.

My Least Favorite Celine Album?
Loved Me Back to Life

My Favorite Celine Tour/Show?
A New Day

My Least Favorite Celine Tour/Show?
Summer 2016

My Favorite Celine Video?
Between "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" or "If Walls Could Talk"

My Least Favorite Celine Video?
Then You Look at Me

My Favorite Celine Era?
Taking Chances era

Least Favorite Celine Era?
The Colour of My Love

What Aspect of Celine's Career Do I Need to Learn More About?
I don't know much of the French music. But at 16, I think this is around the time I should start giving it more of a chance.

Nice to meet you all!

Nice to meet you too Derrik.

The French songs are excellent. I'd suggest you to start with D'Eux. That is my favourite album, and the songs still give me shivers (okay, most of her songs do).

Do you know French? Otherwise you'd start learning some by using language-learn-app. Not sure if I am able to say which one I use... with the green owl anyway.
I am lucky I learned French in high school, had it for 6 years (mainly because I loved French, France and, of course, because of Céline Dion). Although I don't use it anymore, I still understand her songs.

I'm a lot late, but nice to hear about you derrik. I admire that such young kids, especially boys who get teased mercilessly for even admitting they know who she is, are into her. I have very, very different tastes from yours, but to each their own. I also recommend that now is a prime time to learn more about her French music, I wish I'd started earlier. I took Spanish in high school because that's what everyone was doing. Not only that, but it's waaaaay more used in California, where I live, than French will ever be! Anyway, enjoy your time here!
L'immensite de mon amour pour Celine! L'amour existe encore pour elle! :)
