Waylon will be the Dutch representative. He was part of the duo The Common Linnets with Ilse de Lange. They came in second place in 2014 with Calm After The Storm.

Very curious what kind of song he'll bring. I dunno if it's smart entering again after only 4 years. But surely he won't top the position he got with The Common Linnets...

Belgium will be represented by Laura Groeseneken
Finland will be represented by Saara Aalto - with the song being chosen on March 3rd, 2018
the Netherlands will be represented by Waylon

I still don't like to this year's winning song ... and have not even tried to listed to it again nor the many covers produced out there in different languages ...

Australia will be announcing their representative on Monday ... kinda early for them, but looking forward to find out who it is!!!

btw Salvador finally had his surgery for a new heart ... and he is doing good ... he was hospitalized since September 11th and finally got the operation done this weekend

she's quite famous here in Australia! She's first starts in Australia Idol
and she stars in the movie The Sapphires

I do not remember seeing her at ESC the year she was there ... maybe she did not impact me that me ... or I skipped that part of the show

I guess the first song to be revealed is going to be the one from Albania. They hold that national song festival right before the New Year's Eve and its winner is automatically given the right to appear on Eurovision.

Once all the details were eventually cleared last night… it’s time to see what OT can offer for Eurovision talking about music!

As announced by RTVE several days ago, the songs fighting for the ticket to Lisbon have been unveiled today, right after last night’s Operación Triunfo semi-final, where the fifth finalist and solo singer was chosen.

There will be a few combinations to choose from when it comes to picking the best artist(s)/song to represent Spain in May. The broadcaster gave all the details last night and there will not only be a place for duets and solo entries, but also a group-song, which was assigned to the track that all sixteen contestants of Operación Triunfo and one of their teachers wrote a few weeks ago, called ‘Camina’.

From today onwards, RTVE in conjunction with TV company “Gestmusic” will start working with the finalists and the songwriters on all nine competing tracks to find the best option for Lisbon. The audience will have the final say next week and the decision will be taken in two rounds.

These are the combinations and the respective tracks chasing to fly the Spanish colours in Eurovision 2018:
