I don't think Celine will be attending this year even if she has recovered from surgery. She has probably been invited after all the attention last year, but she might think it is not respectful to reappear in a party after all the cancellations last months but we will see. I hope she goes : )

Who cares about seeing another singer in a fashion event again, when she hasn't released any new music in 5 years? What are they going to talk about? Her latest overelaborated dress? More questions about how long it's been since she's retired from music (as many people thinks nowadays)?

I just couldn't care less about the MET Gala now, or any other fashion event. I only want her to recover whatever the time she needs and only come back when she's ready AND with a smashing new single in her hands again.

Had to vent about this because it's astonishing how some people come up with random wishful thinking appearances when we don't even know how she's doing at the moment

I'd love to see her at the MET gala but honestly I just want her to take a break for a full year. But she has the upcoming tour and it would be terrible if she had to cancel Asia again. But after Asia tour, she should take some time off, a long time off.
She's been so busy after Renés passing, too busy.  I've loved every second of it but I'd rather have Céline for years to come than for her to burn out or being sick all the time if she doesn't get rest.

Same I'm going to optimistic until Sunday. If we aren't seeing her going to any of the pre parties, then she's not there.
