I think the fact is that she wouldn't be getting this attention under his shadow. People are now looking at her differently, someone who has overcome hardship and is now making the most of a difficult situation, focusing on her career and carving out a new path in life.

She doesn't need to look younger, but most women like to. And I don't think it would look fake, simply because her natural color is dark.

What's wrong with being 50 and looking 30? Celine was in her early 30s and looked about 60 at the premiere of "A New Day.." in 2003 with the short blonde hair. So yes she does look older with blonde hair and like CELINEDIVO said darker his her natural color. I truly believe that every woman wants to look younger and more fresh and there's nothing wrong with that , hat just means she wants to look good. You can be proud be be a 50 year old woman who looks much younger than her age. And with Celine the hair always plays a big role in how old she looks .

I wanted to include a short blonde hair pic but I thought so,someone would say the short hair is what made her look older not the blonde lol so I chose that one.

She definitely looks younger with the darker hair. In fact, those photos from the "BELONG" launch are some of my favorites in general.

Making yourself look younger than you are often does not make you look good it has the reverse effect.

I have to disagree. That's not entirely true, not ALL short hair looks made her look older. I've always said that this she totally killed it with this appearance in 2003 in Divaas Las Vegas. She looked absolutely stunning . Key factor here was not only the hair, but also the tone in her skin. Actually I'd dare to say that Celine's skin has never looked better and younger before as in this 2003 event, and that short hair was just the cherry on the top of the cake, which wouldn't have worked that good if she had her usual long hair. So no, not always has she looked bad with short hair, imo!.

She's so pale now! A tanned skin can do wonders on her look, it's not just a question about the hair

I think this look is absolutely adorable on her and very clean looking!!! Your right about her skin, it looks super young!

Your natural haircolor always looks best. Maybe there are some exceptions to the rule but Celine looks so much better with her natural haircolor.

I dont think she should go as dark as her natural colour.

When you get older your skin colour changes as well, sometimes to still wanna have the same haircolour you had when you are 20 isn't a match with the face you have when you are 50.

When she has her blonde hair, her grey hair won't be noticed as well.

But when you see her withour her wig, her now "natural" hair is more warmer caramel blonde. Her wigs are too highlighted blonde. Don't like that.
The colour she had when she came back in 2011 and 2015 are the best
