Agreed. Celine is naturally funny but like anyone when they know they feel they "have to" be funny sometimes they overdo it and it isn't natural. She is funniest when she isnt trying I.e anytime she was on the Rosie O'Donnell show.

I dont care - I'm just going to say it why - of all appearances- does she have to wear her hair and makeup like that?  Blue eyeshadow and nude lipstick and hair up - maybe she is sick of the same hair and makeup that she does in Vegas every night and wants to look different. But her Vegas look is so pretty and flattering.

It's nice that for all these articles they're using a variety of pictures of Celine. And most of them are flattering!

I remember for a long while in the early 2000s they would always choose some of the worst photos of Celine.

There's been a real shift in the appreciation for Celine Dion and her legacy.

So excited for Carpool Karaoke! We've wanted this for so long and I'm glad Celine is not playing it safe. She's just having fun and being her over-the-top self! We should all learn from her.

AND I'M SO READY TO FIND OUT WHAT THAT EVENT IN LOS ANGELES IS GONNA BE! New music is comin', y'all! Hopefully a world tour is coming too!!

I feel like the promo they do for this project will be all-out, "extra", somewhat wacky version of Celine, rather than taking the usual uber-earnest/ sincere angle.
I think they learned from the success of Ashes, the super-viral Vogue video, her Paris fashion shows, etc., that this kind of approach is working very well for her right now. And she seems to be happy with taking that route, so more power to her!

I think, with her new English record and promo, she will be ready to combine the FASHION and the MUSIC. So it won't so much be about "looking pretty" (as she's done in the past over and over and over again). This new chapter will be about being your AUTHENTIC self / taking risks / not caring what others think. Let's all prepare ourselves for this and EMBRACE IT instead of fighting it. Why? Because it's WHAT CELINE WANTS.

Celine is an eccentric, kooky, fabulous lady who happens to possess one of the greatest voices of all time.

The world is finally catching up to her and appreciating her for always being so darn authentically herself. Let's hold her up right now and have her back instead of tearing her down with nasty comments! I, personally, am learning a lot from her these days.

This new album really could be a huge hit for all kinds of reasons!

Well the BBMA's are very early this year.... May 1st. And the MET gala is May 6th.
She won't resume her last Vegas run until May 14th, so she has plenty of time to do promo. En tot die tijd singles hier en daar.

The way you've put it is 100% accurate! We love that she will be on the show and can't wait to see it, but it is not the Celine we want the world to see, especially now with new music and (hopefully) a big come back
