The people of Québec should just officially crown her as their Queen and get it over with. With the visiting hospitals and hugging children, the only remaining  difference with "true" royalty is that Céline isn't payed by taxes.
We just freely give her our money.

I read a comment on Facebook that said Celine probably went to CHU Sainte- Justine to get attention she's putting a fake smile on for the media. Why didn't she come in the past to visit. And how she changed a lot after her husbands death.

pfff She has visited Saint Justines before. She's always supported Saint Justines. Had a show in Montréal where all the money raised went to Saint Justines. Even all the bags sold on August 23, the proceeds went to Saint Justines. And she's often met up with sick children.

And IMO she's only changed to the better.

I've just watched the full press conference.

This woman is pure class. I mean the way she is over gossips and stuff, making fun of them, without confirming or denying things. She doesn't take herself seriously. And still so much energy! She has just ended a tour after months of Vegas concerts. .. how does she do that ?

She did an excellent job of laughing off the very overt questions, it does look like she is mocking the press. It was interesting though hidden amongst all the more reported snippets from the interview she said:

“And I’m such a believer. Because I’m a mother. Because I’m a sister. Because I’m a friend. Because I’m a wife'.

And there in probably lies the answer. She's a friend and a wife. Subtly presented.

You are right! And I think she feels like she's the queen (not in a bad way). She knows that Montréal is HER home, and when she said "I'm the boss" in the conference press She really can do whatever she wants and I love that she realizes that now!
