Celine is known for its good taste. Designer clothes and accessories, beautifully appointed luxurious houses: no wonder she chose The Group Bugatti to deploy the first phase of her "Art de Vivre" (""Art of Living") collection.

"It's a dream that we had here, the team can work on l'ADN , the essence of the product," says Johanne Boivin, Executive Vice President of Product Development. A major partnership for the Quebec company based in Boisbriand.

"The pride of being able to associate with an international star such as Céline is quite extraordinary," said Andrew Hattem, President and CEO of the Bugatti Group.
Céline applies actively in the process and the biggest star on the planet knows what she wants.
"If there was something she had not, she said: '' Do your homework! '' It was really charming," says Boivin, speaking of the creation process.
"We deal with a business woman who wants to have a 'branding' which will be international and it's very exciting," adds Andrew Hattem.

The products are ready and the creative approach behind the collection is very original. The  L’ADN  of the collection was based on three of Celine's songs.

"A New Day Has Come": we know it's part of her show she did a long time ago in Las Vegas. '' A New Day '' could bring something new, "says Ms. Boivin.

"Taking Chances": to do something 'fashion', we're going to take risks. "

"River Deep -Mountain High": For a segment of its collection that is going to be higher for VIPs. That's why there's a range of prices from $ 100 to $ 2,000. Above all, it must absolutely join her fans. " "There will be a small monogram inside every product that reminds us some of her song "Trois heures vingt" .Its logo includes and the initials and its full name so that there is no confusion in the market. I didnt like this at first but its growing on me. I like what I see in the pictures... Maybe I will love it. Who knows! Céline is music for me, but even the best girl can have a change of heart �

Not a fan of the logo, it looks kinda retro 80's and cold. But I'm glad that this venture seems to have artistic value and intent behind it. Hopefully there're some "unisex" options hahaha

I like the logo. They cant emphasise the Celine part of her name in the logo as there is also a French fashion house named Celine. So it makes sense to use the small letter c and the large D.
I'm actually excited for this line. Her style is great now, has been for years. Now her look and style will be accessible to her fans like her music is. Kylie Minogue's lifestyle brand is successful and hasn't hurt her music career one bit. It's there if you want it. If you don't it doesn't matter.

I love it and I love that Céline is expressing herself in more ways than music.

Will I buy it, no I don't think so. I can't see myself carrying a purse with her name on it. I love Céline but I don't know.. But who knows, maybe I'll change my mind later if I see something that I really love.

But fantastic for Céline to go into this, something I imagine she has wanted for a long time.

the space or gap between the words Celine and Dion is too big i think. does look like two individual words instead of the name Celine Dion

Because (from my own artist perspective) she will eventually not be able to tour as she has done. All artists (and people in general) have to slow down as they age. Look at older artists, they don't tour like they used to.  They don't perform as often or do as many shows when they DO tour. As she gets older, she won't generate the income from live performances that she made in the past and she needs to look forward on how to keep money coming in from her "brand". Many artists decide to have a product line.  They stamp their name on products that other people design and have income for the rest of their lives on a percentage of the items sold.  

Celine has always said that she is not a song writer. And she is a smart enough human being to know that she is in no way an actress.  She will make much more money in selling products with her name on it (and do far less work) than by learning how to write songs.  Launching a Lifestyle Product Brand is the smartest choice she could make as she enters her 50s.

Exactly, it's a smart move. Some already point out that her voice isn't what it was. (actually complaining is more like it, wanting her voice to sound like it as in the 90's ) I see no harm in this move. Will I buy anything? Probably not but the option is there.
I do think she could do some acting in French though.

Also celine loves fashion, design, interior design etc. So it makes complete sense to me. I'm a bit surprised it's only just happening.
Quick question about her fragrance line in case anyone knows. Has she stopped releasing new fragrances now??

I have missed her "old" voice a lot but for a while I've been listening only to her newer stuff with her "new" voice. Then when playing Céline with spotify shuffle Ziggy started to play, the one that she recorded originally and I then listened to Ziggy live from Une Seule Fois and  found that I actually do love her "new" voice a LOT LOT. It hit me with a big surprise.
I enjoy how Céline is getting older, her looks and voice. We are all getting older

And on topic, it's a very smart move. Even though she might not be targeting her fan base with this product brand, she should do what ever she wants to do. As long as she keeps on singing

i prefer her voice now, and most of all the emotion that she put in some performances.

This is all a tad presumptuous. I am pretty certain Céline Dion, out of all the artists out there, will have a very lucrative touring career for years to come and I'm pretty sure she'll make a hell

Let's expand her music career not this.. indeed all those cheap parfumes flopped because they are not expensive luxureous fragrances like Calvin Klein or Dior.   they are made for the masses. If money was spend on making something durable that people want to buy because of the luxureous and interesting scent it would be such more lucrative. Naomi Cambell and J Lo both launched succesful fragrances.

I think this whole line will not have a long life.Unless It is something special that people really want to buy. Not cheap bags with a Celine Dion logo on it but expensive trendy bags for example made from good material and with a luxureous look.

Her fragrance line was very successful actually. It brought in a lot of money. JLo and Naomi's scents can all be found in drug stores all over the U.S., which is exactly where we all found Celine's.

I wonder what stores will be selling Celine's new Lifestyle Brand? If the items for this line are only going to be available on the internet, then I'm not interested. I really hope that they will be easily available at a variety of different stores in my area. I am curious to see just how affordable the River Deep Mountain High section of the collection will actually be as well.

Yeah Céline's fragrance line didn't flop lol.... otherwise Coty wouldn't have released 17 different perfumes.. At one point, they made 2 per year.
