“In today’s world, you need a coordinating and consistent branded approach to everything,” Dell Furano, CEO of Epic Rights, exclusively told Billboard. “On a global level, [artists] need to combine all areas -- their music, performances, touring, website, social media -- and launching a lifestyle brand was just a natural extension for Celine at this point in her career, particularly because it’s all from her point of view.”
While the program is still yet to be named (they’re currently calling the brand “Celine Dion” as a placeholder), the initial stages of conceiving the multiple lines and rollout planning are done, purposely timed to take advantage of the International Licensing Show in Las Vegas, where Furano says they already have three days of meeting with mid-tier department stores booked for the brand.
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to get your hands on a Celine Dion product anytime this year. Epic Rights and Feeling Productions (Dion’s Canadian-based production company) will be rolling out the goods in Fall 2017 over an 18-month period, starting with active wear, accessories, eyewear, beauty, and travel products and introducing new product lines over the following three years.
“This is a very organized, very well thought out program,” Furano said. “And what makes this unique from [other artist programs] is simple: it is Celine herself.”

Celine Dion Partners with Epic Rights to Develop Her First Branded Lifestyle Collection
I think, it will be like Kylie's Lifesyle Collection (underwear-, bed lines, curtain-collection)

This makes makes me so unbelievably sad. So very, very disappointed that Aldo's focus is on slapping her logo on everything rather than music.
I don't know what to think of this step yet.

I wanted to buy a bottle of wine that she was tied to but wasn't going to pay that price for it. You remember the wine?

The wine was different. Wasn't it for charity?

POPULAR
That would be totally OK if it wasn't because she's become less and less ambitious and careless in her career as a singer, and particularly, as her evolution as an ARTIST.
In 12 years since she started her Vegas residency, we've seen how little her music career has evolved, each year getting more comfy in Vegas and playing safe within her comfort zone, both when it comes to recording new albums and performing in concerts. Whose setlists we can openly agree that are completely stagnated at this time (she's been stuck for years actually).
She has settled very comfortable in Vegas, no question about it. So good news for her, sure. But I just wish the ambition and entrepreneur spirit she is showing with this kind of news were also present in the musical side of her career
So if the "natural extension of a singer's career" is the creation of a lifestyle brand, as the article claims, I couldn't disagree more, as well as feeling a kind of farewell to the artist that once inhabited Céline. The natural extension of a singer's career like hers would be starting to write your own songs or producing your music or some other artists, but not producing home goods, more beauty products or underwear, for God's sake
I know some of you will call me negative but I don't care, we're here to express our opinions about her

Of course, it's another way to make money and actually they could do whatever they want to if it wasn't detrimental to her main domain which is music. I wouldn't really mind it if she continued focusing on music, new sounds, new albums, good promotion, good music videos, but no, they want to launch another thing. Instead of focusing 100% on things she does best and to make them successful they will do bunch of mediocre things.
Bye bye music videos, bye bye original songs... bye bye well-produced albums... Welcome to Celine Dion Home, buy your TV set or cd player with Celine Dion logo, but remember you can only play old covers using them.
