Well, since there has been no much news lately and I've been always thinking about it, maybe it's time...
What do you think about doing some research about Celine's family, I mean maybe we could just collect information about Celine's family in this thread?
We know about Celine's parents and siblings but what about her grandparents, aunts, oncles, cousins or her siblings families? Do we know anything about them?

I would like to know how Celine is related to me in more detail. Many of my family members are French and my dad's side our family is related to Celine through my grandma. My grandma's maiden name is Leblanc.
Celine is related to the Leblanc side of my family some how, which makes Celine my distant cousin!
That is all I know. I never found out any further information. I don't know how closely I am related to her or how it all connects exactly.
If it helps put any pieces of the puzzle together for Celine's family tree, It also said that I am related to Jean Chretien and Camilla Duchess Of Cornwall. Since I have relation to Celine, Celine might also be related to these people.
I have also heard before that Celine is distant cousins with Madonna.
I would love to know more about Celine's family tree and it would be interesting to see how exactly she is related to me!

Here's a little family tree I found online...it doesn't show any of her siblings but it has her kids, Rene and then her parents, their parents, etc. Some interesting names I've never heard of like Adhemar's parents.

Hey guys!!! I want to say its been several years since my last post but its great to be back. I thought id post about the most recent discovery ive made about Celine Dion's family.
I've been working on a family tree for several years now using the website family search.org. I tend to be a nerd when it comes to these things. So after taking a break from mine, i wondered i anything would be documented on Celine's family. I know recently that she is descended from a first nation Algonquin Woman named Marie, And has scottish as well as portuguese ancestry from several hundred years ago. But one of her ancestors from her mother's line goes all the way to ancient rome. Turns out she is descended from Mark Anthony!!!! Yes Mark Anthony who was married to Cleopatra!!!!! Her descent comes from his first wife and thus makes her related to Julius Ceasar. I was fascinated that from this line descended into french kings , than into French nobility and one of those descended sailed for the new world in the 1600's helping to start one of Celine's many industrious lines of descent. Turns out Ceasars palace wasn't to far from her after all. It was already in her blood. What a discovery
