Hello,

In light of the news that Vegas is being postponed, and that her Asia Tour is cancelled at this time, what would people think of taking the ticket refund money and donating it to the Celine Dion Foundation?

Personally, I plan to do that with my ticket refund money. I already spent the money, so it is not like I planned on using it for something else.  Plus, at this time, it just seems appropriate, at least for me, to do so.

I am posting the idea here just for people to think over and maybe consider for themselves as well.  I understand everyone is at different places in their life, and for some donating the money may be easier than it is for others. But, since we already paid for the tickets, I thought I would just throw the idea out there to get people at least thinking about it.


*to be clear, this is not something that would require coordination among different parties. Each person would just donate on his or her own and send in the money themselves directly to the Celine Dion Foundation, not any third party.

That's an amazing idea. I don't have a ticket refund, but it still sounds like a great idea!

Great idea! I may donate a small portion. Getting close to $3000 back and need to use the majority of the refund on unexpected dental work.:-(

I cannot find the website to donate. There isn't a link on her official page. I will continue to look around, but if I can't find it, I will donate to a charity her website lists as one she supports.

That's an amazing idea!!  If I had tickets and was receiving a refund, I'd do the same.

That is a really sweet idea! You could always donate it to a cystic fibrosis foundation or the Saint Justine children's hospital that she just did the benefit concert for
