Hi,
I wonder if any of you know if photocameras are allowed in het Sportpaleis?
And if so, which ones? I have a non HD camera from sony - http://www.google.nl...ved=0CDwQ9QEwAg
Do you think this one is allowed? It can only film in VGA but with good audio and it has 15X optical zoom..
I know that DSLR's usually are not allowed, but a consumer camera?
Otherwise I still have my other, not so good pocketcamera, audio is bad, hd is quite good.

The last time, I had a camera with small lens (similar as in the picture) and I have to hand it (in 'vestiaire'). This was not a professional camera, but the lady there told me that all devices with a (also a small) lens were not allowed inside. Both my sister and I had a camera (well hidden on bottom of our hand bags), but they found it and we had to hand it to her till after the concert. They do check

You can always try.
When I saw lady gaga, there were checking bags too, but inside I saw a couple of people with camera (i thought with lens).
I don't know how they got that inside. Maybe some people check better than others and you have to be lucky?

I don't know, I am not alone and cannot risk not getting in the sportpaleis when I have a camera..
I think I maybe let me camera at home and hope people are gonna film and record

Usually, the terms and conditions are on the reverse side of physical tickets, so you'll be able to read if cameras are allowed or not. If you don't have physical tickets yet, it should be written somewhere on the confirmation e-mail or the website you used to buy the tickets. As far as I know, cameras aren't allowed at ANY concert/event. When I went to see Celine in London in 2008, my ticket did state cameras weren't allowed, but I was naughty enough to take mine
Still, when the security checked my bag at the entrance, they didn't bother confiscating it or anything. Besides, whatever concert I've been to, I've always seen thousands of cameras flashing away.
You could risk it and take it with you, anyway, and if they do confiscate it, you will get it back at the end of the show. But, honestly, I think it's pointless if they do end up confiscating it. Almost everybody now owns a smartphone, which is perfectly capable of flash photography, yet they don't confiscate all those phones. Of course, phones and cameras are two different things.
At the end of the day, it's really up to you. Your ticket will most likely prohibit cameras, but it's up to you if you want to risk it or play it safe

Thank God you are
enough, Chris.
I haven't had any problem in taking cameras to the concerts I've been to. I guess they'd confiscate really big equipment or professional cameras, but not consumer ones. I'll for sure take mine, plus the phone, just in case, but I don't think there will be a problem.

I think you are right luis. A small camera should not be a problem. But i read on the sportpaleis site that when justin bieber was giving a concert only non flash throw away cameras were allowed. But maybe that is only bieber's wish

in 2008 small camera's were allowed. they even didn't check my backpack. I think than when you hide it well and turn the flash off it would not be a problem. and those days a smart phone can take HD pictures as well, and they can NEVER take away your phone!
Elle est mon idéal, La plus grande étoile
Will be going to Celine march 2 and 5 2016 and June 20 and 21 2016

I'll try to do my best! Too bad Wouter is going on a different date, because we'd make some kind of plan so he'd go past security and then I'd throw the camera to him from the outside, so there wouldn't be any problem.

Haha Luis! Would have been a very good idea. But i decided to take my camera with me. Spoke to a girl who recently went to beyonce in antwerpen and they did not check for them
