I guess I was really happy in 2002 when she returned with another great album. Not that I haven't been happy that she has released music since then, but that tops the happy chart since 2000.

Such wonderful news   I'm delighted.

It's obvious Celine was influenced by the press marathon she did where several reporters asked her about doing an intimate show.  Nice to see them be spontaneous once in awhile rather than be totally driven by commercial purposes (a small club show is not going to be as profitable as a typical concert)

It has taken us 2 over exciting day to guess what a big annoucement would be and finally it turned to gambling. And I am really unlucky with this holy s***. I have bought many kinds of lottery for years (charity lottery, constructing lottery, school lottery,...), but I have never won even the lowest prize. *sigh*

Let me be the first to really be happy about this news.. Someone said this might be a Tv special as well.. that's what I hope for. I think they are going to do like Arcade Fire.. they built anticipation for Sept 9 when they had a special show in Montreal at La Salsatheque where fans were invited to come costumed, the next thing you know is that right after their Snl special their is an Arcade Fire Special directed by Roman Coppola that features 4 of their new songs and its the recording of the show in the club .. I so hope Celine is going to do something amazing like this!

I like the idea of an intimate club setting, Barbra Streisand did it in 2010 and filmed it for a DVD. However, unless Celine intends to perform her new material acoustically, I feel the songs on this album would be better suited to a big outdoor show like Quebec, as judging by LMBTL they are big and powerful numbers...

Does anyone else agree??

I agree but also I feel it would be interesting to see if and how they can tone the uptempo numbers down a bit in order to make them fit in an acoustic setting, if that's the way the material is to be performed.

Also, if acoustic is the way they go, and they tape it, it would be awesome if they made something available for us later. I've always dreamed of a Celine Dion: Unplugged álbum.

Exactly one year ago today I flew to NYC to see Barbra Streisand's last tour.  Maybe this will be an omen that I will win! lol
Even if I did win, I'd have to cover my work and classes and it'd be a mess. I think the contest should be for her to perform in your living room.
