Yes, I agree. The charts are altered, but the positions already achieved cannot be altered. It's like saying that "I Believe In You (Je Crois En Toi) cannot be counted as an Adult Contemporary hit by Celine because it peaked at 31 and now the chart only has 30 positions. :P

same with certifications... TAKING CHANCES sold 150,000 in France and was only certified Gold, whereas LMBTL has already been certified PLATINUM without yet selling 100,000 ;)

rules change, but achievements are what count!

This song, along with 'Attendre', 'La Mer Et L'enfant', 'Je N'ai Pas Besoin D'amour' and 'Si Je N'ai Rien De Toi' are timeless gems for me. I now know I'll never get bored of them.

Talking about certifications, I'm pretty sure 'Parler A Mon Pere' should be certified Gold (50k) in France, it was November 2012 it surpassed the 53k mark in sales there.

It was at #64 on iTunes a few hours ago, now standing at #76, so another charting week for this new Céline classic! I hope many other new french artists start covering it and finally crown it as a classic!

So the last time this song charted in France was 2 weeks ago, on the chart issued Dec 23rd 2013 at #173, charting for it's 49th week.
