I never listen to the radio...

However, a friend of mine told me he heard PAMP on the radio the other day.

I smell a top 10 hit once the song is perfomed live. It becomes more and more popular in a slow but steady pace.

Sous Le Vent needed 4 months to reach #1 in Belgium, so we can be positive and expect everything.

Yes I've heard this a couple of more times during the past weeks. Ironically I think this is being played more often than TC was. Guess people like hearing Céline sing a more simpler honest folky tune.

''Tout L'or Des Hommes'' reached #2 on the ''Canadian Singles Chart'' and #10 on the ''European Singles Chart''. This song was played like crazy back in 2003.

''Et s'il n'en restait qu'une'' was also a huge hit in France and Europe (#1 on the ''French Singles Chart'' and #7 on the ''European Singles Chart'')

PAMP only reached #53 on the ''Canadian Singles Chart'' and failed to enter the ''European Singles Chart''. It didn't get much of airplay in comparison to TLDH and ESNRQ.

Overall, I think many people don't care about PAMP (myself included).

Well, it can't become a hit when they do nothing to promote it! This song is 3 months old and nothing was done to promote it more. They send it to radiostations and that's all.

But ''Et s'il n'en restait qu'une'' reached the #1 spot in France in April 2007 and wasn't really promoted back then. The TF1 special of her ''D'elles'' album for France was broadcasted on TV on June 9 2007 (almost 2 months after ESNRQ reached the #1 spot).

Very good point. Regardless of how much the single (or album) sold the history books will always show that it went to number 1. This is where other artists seem to get it so right, releasing in quiet weeks so their singles and albums go to number 1 whereas Sony usually release Celine's material on busy release days when other big artists are releasing. This is why, in a way, it's good "Water and A Flame" has been delayed as it won't have to go up against other big artists releasing on 19th November.

I just watched the video for this song. I love the video, but the song is so-so. It's not bad, but for a first single I don't think it's overwhelming. I listened to the clips of all the songs on her homepage and I love love love the last song on the deluxe album: Les jours comme ca. This should have been the first single - it's such an amazing, upbeat song.
