Hi there Celine Fans!!

I really really want to go see Celine in Vegas while she is there but I feel like I will never be able to I live in New Zealand which is a small country and I'm a HUGE fan of Celine since I was 5 years old and it is my dream to see her in concert and maybe even meet her!!
I don't mean to sound like I'm sulking but I need some reassuring that one day my dream will come true

Exactly. Well said Adi. Really this is a silly topic. You could have just posted that on What's on your mind or something. Of course I hope you do get to see Celine someday, but "Help Me"? You are 20 years old for goodness sake. It's not the moon! You can do Vegas pretty reasonably if you are careful about it. All the good wishes in the world won't get you there any faster than the way the rest of us got there. By saving up.

No doubt though you'll get plenty of people posting here to reassure you and send you hugs though.....

I don't think it's silly to share your feelings at all. This is probably a better subject for What's On Your Mind, though.  

The most important thing to do is to start saving money. Maybe you could put away part of the money you get from working/as a gift/whatever just for Vegas? I made a special "Céline fund" where I put half of my paycheck each week towards the trip (you don't have to do that much if you don't want to, but I was trying to save enough in 5 months!) Set goals for yourself and make a plan to reach them!

The other important thing is: don't give up!! Tell yourself that you CAN, not that you can't. Giving yourself positive messages will make the waiting/saving period much easier.

No, you shoudn't have to delete it at all. You should feel free to post here. I don't know why are people so concerned about the topic and where it is posted and whether its relevant. From what I can see, such posts concerning that are not any more relevant than what ya'll are moaning about. Who cares, it's not like we're pressed for space on here.

Thanks Tyler U made me feel better I thought that I was able to use this forum to tell my love and respect for Celine just like everyone else does but whatever opinions people have,that's there opinion and that's fine.

The first concert Celine went to see was a Stevie Wonder Concert! She went on to sing his songs, meet her idol Michael, record a song with her biggest inspiration, Barbra, record with Pav, Bee Gees, Andrea, Perform with Cher, be involved with Oscar History! I agree with Tyler. You don't need to delete anything! This is a forum, and we are all allowed to share our thoughts and opinions. I really hope I didn't embarrass you, Kristy, by telling you this might be better for What's On Your Mind. I see that you're fairly new, so I wanted to help you out with the general layout of the forum, since it can be a little confusing sometimes. It doesn't really matter if your topic is here or there, though!

I understand where you are coming from. Dont be hard on yourself though- your only 20 , and it is hard at that age to have the money to go to Vegas! So you need to first think, is there anyone who you could go with? Then maybe the two of ye (or whatever number of people are going) could get serious on looking into it i.e checking out flight costs and accomadation. Least that way you will know how much money you need and do out a little budget. Are you working now? Maybe your not, but saving any amount at all will help. You will never feel it building up!

You will get to Vegas, cause from your post it seems as though You Really do want to go! So you WILL go!!! Just say today is the day you start planning towards it. I thought id never make it to see her, but i just made it my business cause I really wanted to. Its like a dream holiday. Youll get there and Celine "will be waiting for you , here inside her heart"!!! (Corny, I know, but i just love that song!!!!)

Christy, I did not think I would make it to her either. As it is, it was not Vegas I have been to. I have still yet to see her there. But I got to see her when she was going through the Taking Chances world tour and she came to Sacramento, California. At least you are admitting your feelings, because when I heard she was coming here, I buried/stuffed that I had Always wanted to go. I would not even let myself think of it...
My birthday was around that time, and guess what! Two friends put things together and They are the reason I made it to see her. So yes, like the others have said, work on it! You cant expect it to come from others, or overnight! Be patient/positive, it takes time. With others maybe. And be open to anything. Miracles sometimes happen. I dont mean hint around or be subtle, but you never know who keeps hearing you talk about it and may lend a hand. Be prepared to pull yourself up by your boot straps so to speak, but also be open to the unexpected. You Can do this if you want it and take practical steps in the physical to make it happen. Its a combination of both actions!

And finally Christy, you may come from small humble suroundings, but look what Celine did with hers. Its not where/what you come from but what yo do/where you go with/because of it. I am blind, but, although not through anything I did, I made it to her and so can you. I understand the desperation, 20 or not!

Hahaha!! Thats the person I have roped into going with me too ! He is great! He knows I need to see Celine and i have kinda turned him into a little fan of Celine now too!

I dont have anyone I have roped in to taking with me or would want to take with me. I actually dont want to go with anyone. I think, unless they are a Really BIG fan ( hers, I want to go alone. I went to see her with two people who were not very in to her. So if I get to go again, I either want to go with another die hard or alone. That way I would not feel so embarrassed to get so excited/in to her...

I never thought I would ever get to go to Las Vegas to see Celine, although I been lucky enough to see her twice in the UK, so I decided to start
saving.  

Its taken me 2 years of hard saving but I am finally going.   Your still very young and I'm sure you will get to see her in Vegas if you try hard.
