Forgive me if this has been mentioned already.

Celine's A New Day... Live In Las Vegas SD DVD will be reissued on Monday, October 24th in "Super Jewel Plus" packaging. (Much like her All The Way... A Decade Of Song and Video was earlier this year.

Personally I like these jewel cases for DVD's as opposed to the cardboard boxes they put them in.

Same DVD  ( only released in late 2007 ) but with new packaging on sale ''reissued'' soon?!?     
Well done brain boxes @ a certain branch of her label... how some of you are still in jobs is beyond me, lmao!!!  

A bluray version of the TC Concert DVD to be released would have been the better option for fans don't you think, or is that to easy, hmmmm.

What does "SD DVD" mean??
I would love them to release all DVDs/Blu-rays in jewel cases and not in those crapy paperback or regular DVD cases...
But a re-release of exactely the same material, only in a new packaging?
A waste of release for me, won't buy it.

SD DVD stands for Standard Definition DVD I guess

I, personally, would prefer a re-issue of ALL THE WAY where the cover is changed to a blue tint and there's a box that says "DIVAS ROCK" on it.

Well, maybe if we're lucky they'll accidentally press the bonde version of AND!

Didn't you hear her 2004 Live album, she sounded very bad in that specific concert to put it gently

TCOLM DVD is almost all lipped, the last DVD had rerecorded tracks, and this particular one she's not at her full potential.  What's your point?

Well you missed a good DVD to own the "Live A Paris" 1995 DVD ,which BTW you can still find on amazon.fr, is the greatest DVD she has made in her entire career "Voice"-wise

and there's also The Live in Memphis VCD that is not too shabby...

Yeah. But there are a lot of songs that we are missing that were performed in 2002-2004.  Nature Boy, The First Time Ever I saw Your Face, Have You Ever Been in Love, What a Wonderful World, At Last, Jet aime Encore, Fever...

What do you mean? The ones you mentionned are all available on the Live CD 2004 LV. If you meant the video performance, imagine Celine Dion wearing a moving lamp on her head and singing songs . Her hair was too flashy and the main reason they didn't put that on DVD is because the concert wasn't shot in HD which makes the quality of the image pretty low for a show that has too many visuals and special effects.

They'd do much better job releasing "Live à Paris" and "All The Way..." on Blu-ray!
I'd love to see these 2 in HD and just imagine the sound!!...
Finally I'd stop aching for "ATW" SACD, hehe...

Yes. The videos. You have a point. However, after I watched A New Day opening on TV, then they showed "The First Time Ever I saw Your Face", I was so impressed! Its like she a Thinker bell flying. And her voice during the live performance of "Have You Ever Been in Love" is unbelievable! That song is not on the live CD. Since you mentioned that those weren't shot in HD then maybe your right. It would be better to NOT release those.

I meant SD as in the Standard Definition DVD not the Blu-Ray DVD.  As far as I know the Blu-Ray DVD won't be reissued this time around.  It's the same "Super Jewel" that they reissued "All The Way... A Decade Of Song and Video" everywhere and that they issued "Through The Eyes Of The World" at Walmart.

It is recorded in HD. All the cameras inside are capable of it.

She sounded that bad in the live CD you say and they didn't have any objection to release that . Why they would bother to release the matching DVD version?

yes why don't they release the taking chances worldtour on bluray????? and I would LOOOOOOOOVE to have Au Coeur Du Stade on bluray! The dvdversion only was meant for 4:3 playback and I wonder if the original recordings could have been in widescreen?  And A New Day, I have it on dvd and it already looks stunning. But I rather have Au Coeur Du Stade on bluray... but I guess they will not do that.
Same for a dvd I have from Tina Turner. It is a dvd and on the front it says - SHOT IN HD. So why freaking why no bluray release?????

I don't see the reason to "milk a bad cow"; You could bet that the video of the concert is as awful as the sound or would you watch the DVD in mute ?

I wasn't referring to the good/bad quality of that precise performance (which is mediocre of course), but at least we would have something new, that's what I mean. Out of the 5 years and 723 shows she performed, they only cared to give us ONE show and a very partial view of what it was during those 5 years. Better to have that blonde 2004 version than nothing I think!

Is it too much for Let's Talk About Love with all the English songs, I have nothing wrong with the French DVD, but let's face it LTAL tour was one of the best.

Agreed! And I'd like to see one early in the tour with the curly hair, back when she was still singing "Love Is On The Way" and "All By Myself"!
