Back in 2008 a new movie called "Loft" was released in the Belgian theaters.  It became Belgiums most succesfull movie with over 1,2 million people visiting the theater to see the movie.  Last year a remake of the movie was made in The Netherlands and it was also succesful there.

The story:

"5 friends who are all married and know each other very well decide to rent a loft together. In this loft they meet their mistresses. Everything is OK until one morning the body of an unknown young woman is found in the loft. The 5 friends begin to suspect each other of murder. And it becomes clear that they don't know each other as good as they always thought"


Erik Van Looy, who directed the Belgian movie and helped with the Dutch remake is currently in Los Angeles to cast actors for the American remake of the movie.  Patrick Wilson and James Mardsen are some names currently floating arround as actors being cast for the movie.  The remake will be co-produced by original Belgium producer "Woestijnvis".  Wesley Strick (Nightmare on Elm Street) will re-write the original Belgian script made by Bart De Pauw.
