I don't post here much but wanted to let you know that I saw the show tonight. Today is my birthday and I was given the tickets as a present from my partner last year. He is NOT a Celine fan but may be after this evening. (Actually, he IS a fan after this evening - he said so). His favorite number was the Ella Fitzgerald song. It's def one of my top 5 - such a GREAT number live. I have no ability to tape it as a bootleg so have no tracks for you unfortunately. All I have is this mini-review. You've all gotten so many already. Na Me Quitte Pas stopped the show tonight - she got a standing ovation. You could've heard a pin drop in the house while she was singing it. Then she had to go into All By Myself??!! You could see it in her face too. She sang "When I was young" and then just shook her head like "Gurl, get a hold of yourself". All By Myself was the best I've seen it done. The end may not have been as amazing as the March 20th but the entire piece was emotionally stunning.

As for the lipping...lip-synching as we call it here in The States....I don't think it is as much as people think is done. I compare tracks like the rest of (some of) us and the only things I think she lip-synched to tonight were parts of The Reason, the All By Myself "note", Goldfinger, the end of Ben (after she talks) and My Heart Will Go On. Open Arms - no way - too many different licks and some notes hold out a really long time -more than I've ever heard on YouTube in various versions. The Power Of Love - so touchy - I really wouldn't say she lip-synched it tonight. A few notes were not perfect and one in particular was clearly auto-tuned and she took a breath inbetween (light years away/cuz I'm your lady) which I haven't heard before. It's All Coming Back To Me Now - I just couldn't tell. It sounded live and really looked it too - I was watching HARD during that number. She was really on fire tonight. Those of you who say it's too boring have to see it live. It's unbelievable. Can't wait for the live album!
