I know we have talk about this subject on the forum before, but a recent study on wikipedia.org provided the following info,
Voice
Celine Dion possesses a five-octave vocal range, and is often regarded as one of pop music's most influential voices. She has been described as a reigning "Queen of Pop" for her influence over the record industry during the 1990s, alongside Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. In a countdown of the "22 Greatest Voices in Music" by Blender Magazine and MTV, she placed ninth (sixth for a female), and she was also placed fourth in Cove magazine's list of "The 100 Outstanding Pop Vocalists". Dion is often compared to Mariah Carey for her vocal style and to her idol Barbra Streisand for her voice. Upon her debut, many critics had welcomed her restrained vocal inflections, and she was praised for her technical virtuosity and intensity. Describing her voice, The New York Times writes, "Ms. Dion...is a belter with a high, thin, slightly nasal, nearly vibratoless soprano and a good-sized arsenal of technical skills. She can deliver tricky melismas, produce expressive vocal catches and sustain long notes without the tiniest wavering of pitch. And as her duets have shown, she is a reliable harmony voice".
Charles Alexander of Time writes, "The power behind the song is her bring-the-house-down voice, which turns an old, schmaltzy ballad into a soaring pop aria. That voice glides effortlessly from deep whispers to dead-on high notes, a sweet siren that combines force with grace". According to maestro, Kent Nagano and Jean-Pierre Brossman, Dion is "a musician who has an accurate ear as well as refinement and a grade of perfection who makes the envy." Critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine of AllMusic writes that Dion sings with "natural vocal charm" and "effortless elegance".
In her French repertoire, Dion adorns her vocal lines with more nuances and modulations, and the emotional intensity is "more tender and intimate". According to Luc Plamondon, who has written several songs for her, there are three singers: the Québécoise, the French, and the English.
Praised for her vocal restraint at the beginning of her career, Dion's vocal performances came to resemble more closely those of her contemporaries, especially Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey, and she was criticized for oversinging and for lacking the emotional intensity that once was a part of her earlier work. One critic noted that the emotion "seems to have been trained right out of her lovely voice", leaving her with "more voice than heart".
The site provided info from Celine's entire career up until know, with the voice being one of the last topics.
I would believe this, considering all the whistle note's Celine hit on tour.

Does anyone know what notes Celine hit on the really high parts for River Deep Mountain High and that really high note she hit On the Mans world song. Where she says "A woman or a girl" really high?

The highest Celine has ever hit (that we have footage of) is a C#6....and the lowest is a Bb2 in New Dawn....putting her at just over 3 octaves...even including exclamations we only have an E6, which still isn't four octaves.
Celine hasn't hit any "whistle" notes on tour, and never has, except maybe behind closed doors (I'm sure that's where those figures of "5 octave vocal range" come from)....
The note hit at the beginning of a few RDMH performances and in that video you posted was a Bb5, which is FAR from a whistle.
Most of the times in IAMW she has only hit an A5, but occasionally a little higher.
And to be honest, Celine rarely ventures into the 6th octave...in studio I don't think she has gotten into the 6th octave at all (except an exclamation in Treat Her Like A Lady)....she has a few times live:
C6 - Call The Man - Montreal
C6 - Vocal Warm Up in Studio LTAL Sessions
C6 - Love Can Move Mountains - Various Performances
C6 - Because You Loved Me - Vegas (some say this is a B5, I'm not sure)
C6 - Beauty And The Beast - Any FIY Tour Performance Ending (I think some of these may be B5 or lower, not quite sure).
C#6 - Dans Un Autre Monde - Star Academy

You mean there is a six octave vocal range. I thought a person could only sing five octaves. If you said Celine has hit six octaves in the studio, then she has to have a vocal range of over five octaves. Right, i'm confused.
