just around this time, something rather special happened here on the forum... well it was special for me.  I started posting in the off topic section after having lost my partner.  Some young people responded: Mazceline, Celineful, lamourpourCeline and VanMerlin.  We were all going through some very difficult times.  We spend many hours posting and pming each other, providing support and encouragement... sometimes just finding ways to keep each other laughing... even for a moment or two amid the deepest sadness and pain.  We were very much like a little family if family is defined as the people who care about us and love us.   Gradually we spent less time together on the forum as happens in life... and new people became family... Dj4celine, Cheerfuljane, kathyc25 and Paradox... again being supportive and generous with their time... in 2008, angeluk2, CelineRox and CelineRules became part of the family...

As one who made the decision long ago not to have children, to have had the absolute privilege and honor to be allowed to be "Mom" to such wonderful young people, especially at a time of great loss, was such a comfort and unexpected joy.  Thank you to each one of you.


Thank you Koolan and bellamy for creating this wonderful forum and for always being so kind to me.
