I know this is a bit off the subject, but you guys keep going on about the 5th attempt. I thought she only have 1 frozen embryo in NYC and that it didn't work. Where did she get the other frozen embryos from? Am I missing something here?

I definetly don't think it's about retirement. Lime Michel said, that she is enjoying her break but she will want to get back to performing again.

But I'm worried about the comment, hope it's nothing bad. Maybe it's just something personal. We will find out soon

Yeah..I was thinking along those lines too, and now I'm scared. Something way worse than retirement. Because why would they refuse to talk about retirement? And he seemed to be saying it was something for Rene to tell, rather than something about Celine's career? Just praying everything's ok now.

But if it was something really bad, and Michel Jasmin knew that, and knew that Rene and Celine didn't want to talk about it...would he have really tried to approach the subject anyway? I know nothing about the guy, but I know he's friends with them and I somehow doubt he'd want to do anything that could really upset them? Maybe I'm wrong and he just wants ratings? I have no idea. I'm over- analysing.

We're all forgetting of course that it could be something positive. It could be a new album annoucement, a duets project, a movie. Whatever. It could be a GOOD announcement in 3 months that they are contractually obliged not to talk about just now.

I'm pretty sure it isn't about retirement, Celine WILL never retire. Haha. She keeps saying she will, because she wants to grow tomatoes, and visit Greece on a boat, and drive her own car, etc...but we know she loves singing still, she loves her job I ain't worried about it.

And, yeah, maybe they will talk about Rene getting old, but as somebody said, the questions were not sponteanous, Celine and Rene are not crazy. They knew they could trust Michel Jasmin.

I don't think he actually meant that Céline or René asked him to not asked them a certain question. I think he probably meant that it is a touchy subject usually avoided, but he went there... He also said that they spoke cleary about their future. If they didn't want to talk about it, they wouldn't have answered his question. That is also why I'm starting to think it is probably about René being older than Céline and their future...

Well pyb I'm very shocked you would say that.    Michel Jasmin doesn't work(and never worked) that way at all nor Céline and René.  They couldn't and wouldn't do that with him.  Of course, Michel is not the kind of interviewer that wan't to make his guest unconfortable, he doesn't want or need to do that.  He's not that kind of interviewer trust me, he's a lot more the kind that listen well to his guests, goes with their answers and in that way gets a lot more from them.  I'm 100% positive that no question were reviewed before this interview.  Ben voyons donc!

As for the quote I posted previously and was wondering about, it didn't say that there was things that couldn't be asked.  Michel Jasmin said that he wasn't suppose to talk about something and he tried it anyway.  It doesn't exactly mean that someone told him NOT to talk about something, that's speculation from some people I think.  I didn't understand it like that at all.  Unless we know what it is(and we'll know soon) it's difficult to really know.  Maybe it just meant, being a friend, he knew about something very personal that no other did, something that had nothing to do with the career and public life and he decided to talk about it in case they would be comfortable to share that...Anyway I don't know but I just wanted to say that the quote was maybe interpreted in the wrong way....maybe it's my english translation that made that seem like there was things(some questions) that must have not been asked.  It's not the way I understand Michel's comment at all.

Anyway we'll know all about it very soon.

She's an open book to a certain extent. When i hear that Denise Bombardier and Goerges Hébert Germain has "carte blanche"  to write anything they want...imo its BS. loll sorry, but that is just my own opinion. We all know that Rene is powerful enough to take off thousand of magazines that are already in shops because he didn't like what it was saying in it. I agree with him, cause they were lies. but if he can do that, he can certainly prevent an interviewer about certain topics. No? I mean, its common sense, you want to protect your artist. There are things that you don't want to talk about now, cause its not the right time. Its showbusiness, everything has to be "perfect". Plus if that interviewer wants to interview celine again... they better be REALLY nice to her! Why none of those "big interview" like this one, they never ask her about her obvious lyp synching? Or other things like that. Rene has banned some reporters too from every press conferences like Nathalie Petrowski and Sylvain Cormier. Which i totally understand cause they would only write crap about Celine. But if Rene can do all that, i'm pretty sure he can tell his good friend Michel: "Hey michel, that topic, well, just skip it, ok?"

You've said it pyb, it's showbusiness, she's not a politician.  I don't know why she would have to do interviews with people that don't like her and only want to put her down.  No one does that and of course René will see that Céline does interviews with people that are profesionnal, competent and yes(why not) nice! and I would even add..journalist that she likes...That's all.   Most of the interviews are like "human interest" with news and infos about upcoming projects.  Again, it's just showbizz...So those who wants to hurt Céline, René makes sure that they stay away from her.  But that doesn't mean that he reviews questions and bans topics.  I really don't think he does that nor Céline.  They don't have to do that, she's always free not to answer any questions.  When a journalist does an interview with an artist, usually it's to please people who loves that artist not to see the journalist trying to hurt them or to please detractors. C'mon!  Journalist who do that are not around for long or aren't able to approach many people in the long run obviously.  Cormier and cie are hated from almost all artist (except those that he spoke well about).  Those are very few trust me.  

Edit :  Pyb, just read you're edit.  I don't think René has to advice any of them not to go there, just because he doesn't have to.  They trust the people they're working with and they know they are great profesionnal and decent human being.  And again, Céline says what she wants(or not)...and I trust she's strong enough to say NO if she wants.  She did it in the past.  Remember she has almost 30 years experience now with journalists and interviews...Again, Michel Jasmin does interviews to please the public and he's not the kind who wants to make his guest unconfortable.  That's not how he became the superstar journalist he is known for today!

2. future plans and projects;

I think it is about the movie... maybe asking anything about that would force to them to give information that has not been confirmed yet, so nothing to ask about that until they are ready to unveil all the details. Just speculating!
