This song is currently #96 on the Pop chart on iTunes.  Anyone think this may be a possible 3rd single from Miracle?

It would make an excellent 3rd single off of Miracle.  What do you think?  I've always wanted this song as a single, and now my wish is coming true.

I think it's just because it's a song that fits Mother's Day concept.

When it first came out, my first hope was 'Miracle' and it still is! I think it's wonderful. AMP is not new, and the words are just changed a bit. And besides, I don't think the public would go for it if everyone already knows it.

Just some thoughtful thinking.

BTW, I hope the FULL music video for 'Miracle' is released. I'm starting to think that it may not.

I also think Miracle should've been the first single.  It's the most radio friendly.

I agree, Miracle should have been released from the beginning, i still feel that way. If there is a third single, it should be Miracle. However I think since the last two singles flopped, it's probably best to quit while we're ahead, 2 flopped singles is better than three. This album was so popular, I can't understand why the singles aren't doing well.

I would rather have Miracle as the next single along with a music video I Surrender was also on the iTunes charts a couple of weeks ago

A Mother's Prayer was released in an iTunes Essential: Mother's Day playlist, that musta boost it up some.

Also...iTunes created a "CELINE DION" Essentials!
You can buy each set for $25 or the entire set for $75. Of course we don't need that since we have all her CDs and more!

Help........my son is getting married in August and I'm madly searching for a song for us to dance to. I came upon "A Mother's Prayer" by Celine but I'm confused as to the lyrics.

Does anyone know exactly WHO she is singing this to and what exactly is she saying. The lyrics appear to be  a mother to son as it states, but she tells him to protect "her"..........his wife????

I've read the lyrics 10 times and still see it a different way each time.

If anyone could clear this up I'd be so appreciative.

Well I think it's about a mother to her baby girl asking for her protection as she grows becomes wise etc seeing as the album is "a celebration of new life". I think it's definitely a mother/baby daughter song.

I went to a wedding where mother and son danced to Thank You For Loving Me by Bon Jovi it was gorgeous...

"A Mother Prayer" is a prayer from mother to her girl, and it's in general, it's not supposed to be specific for someone from Celine's life, althought it's like she singing for Rene-Charles.

I have a son he's only 5 but this is the song I see us dancing to at his wedding.  I also think Mother's Prayer is for a girl and her mother is asking God's guidance.   Congrats on the wedding. God Bless.

Jackie Evancho has an amazing voice for her age. I have her album too. It was produced by David Foster!
There is a duet with Barbra Streisand. So maybe one day she will sing with Céline

Jackie Evancho's voice is too young to sing that song; IMO, she does not deliver emotion because she didn't experience life yet she's like too young and inexperienced and that shows in her voice; Susan's voice, on the other hand, is much better and has more emotion into it. However, I like Celine's version w/ Andrea Bocceli far more; Andrea's voice is out of this world.
