The Gazette (December 20, 1990)Celine Dion tour suspendedOn the advice of her doctor, singer Celine Dion has postponed the rest of her concert tour for a two-month period, effective immediately. According to a communique from promoter Donald K. Donald, Dion is still suffering the effects of a bout with laryngitis, coupled with exhaustion from a series of performances at Theatre St. Denis. Performances in Quebec City, Sherbrooke, Ottawa and Trois Rivieres, scheduled for January and February, will be rescheduled in the spring 1991 March 5, 1991 86 Street Music Hall, Vancouver (source) March 8, 1991 Arden Theatre, St. Albert (source) (review) There is an article published on the Calgary Herald on March 10, 1991 titled "Dion Gets Crowd Dancing in Aisles", so I guess the concert in Calgary could have been on March 9. According to this file, her debut concert in Calgary was a show for 117 people. Maybe it was this concert. March 11, 1991 Walker Theatre, Winnipeg Here's the ticket! March 15, 1991 Winter Garden Theatre, Toronto On May 19, she started a tour of Quebec (37 concerts in 25 cities/towns according to the official biography). Leo Posted January 9, 2022 at 01:19 PM Author Posted January 9, 2022 at 01:19 PM (edited) I have finally found a source for the March 1991 Canadian dates. This RPM article provides confirmation for two dates and venues we didn't have: March 5 and 9. The March 8th show is not on the list which is strange because the article was published on March 2nd, less than a week before the date. March 8th was on the theatre's website archives and there is a tweet from September 12, 2019 where they posted some pics from that concert. The Unison album made nearly half of the setlist. Special mention to the new acoustic version of three old hits: Fais ce que tu voudras, Mon ami m’a quittée and D’amour ou d’amitié. Interesting!
