this was the world premiere of "The Power of the Dream". as far as I know this happend on the same day than the olympic games opening event on July 19, 1996. so she performed that song twice in one day. just with the "little" difference that her second performance was watched by more than 100,000 people in the olympic stadium stadium in Atlanta, in addition to four billion of TV viewers.
by the way: Céline gave away her salary for that evening plus a little extra to the Canadian team, to support the Canadian athletes - which I find was VERY sweet and generous ... :yes:
