It was sooooooo lovely of celine to say what she had to say about michael. Wow she was a fan. Michael was great and so is celine.

This has been such a big week for Celine! I'm so glad that she was able to build up the strength to talk about him, I'm sure she was a total wreck!!   I was in a total daze yesterday...losing Farrah AND Michael all in one damn day was TOO MUCH TO HANDLE.    I was in total shock, thankyou kindly for posting the video.


I can't believe two LEGENDS died all in one day. It's just unreal.


My heart goes out to Celine, and my prayers go out to MJ and Farrah, heaven bless them.

When I read that they are both dead, it still brings tears to my eyes.  Celine posted a blog on her myspace as her statement as well.  I think it's the same thing that someone posted on here though.  I can't believe that they are gone.  I posted a Michael Jackson song on my myspace to honour his memory.

Céline always knows what to say in bad times. I heard both english and french interviews and she made me tear up quite a bit.

She truly was a fan at heart from the beginning and he was an idol of hers... I remember seeing a video from when she was younger with the headphones and poster (anyone have a link?)her best impression of him singing BAD and then the pics of the fedora and how she sang with the Jackson family and when she sang because you loved me right in front of him and the time he saw her in Vegas.. she has so many memories of how he touched her life and everyone else's and now she's rediscovering him through RC which she probably enjoys the fact that he's learning about her idol but it has too also be a painful reminder of the friend that she lost

Her phone call was so touching with the way that she shared her memories and personal thoughts like how she was nervous to announce him in Vegas but she did it and how the crowd went wild and she thought that people were gonna jump off the balcony lol but I absolutely love and agreed with her about how she said HE WILL NEVER DIE and how she said it in such a tone. she's totally right. I mean people on the news are saying he's dead and then they still talk about him as if he were alive...

but he is and will always be in our hearts. love you michael.

Wow, they are showing her everywhere commenting on him.  I don't want to imagine what his fans are going through.  My friend said that she has a friend who lives in California and he said that he couldn't get to work yesterday because of all of the people in the street moonwalking and playing his music and stuff. Yep, this was 21 years ago during Céline's 1988 Incognito Tour she did in Québec where she did some impressions as part of her show then.  I guess, with internet now, most of her fans have seen this over the years. She's always been pretty good in doing imitations and I remember people loving it a lot at the time.  I don't think Céline would have been able to guess in 1988 this would be shown on this day around the world.

   CNN is now advertising what looks like a new Larry King Special to air tonight with celebrities giving tributes to MJ.  Celine is second on the list and they show a clip of her talking as the ad is shown.  Not sure if this is a repeat from the other night, but it does look new.  Here's hoping it is!

Little off topic but MJ, has 8 albums in the uk top 10 album chart today, including the no. 1 spot and no.1 in the uk single charts with '' Man in the mirror '' with in total 13 singles in the top 40, amazing, fitting,  deserved and what a tribute!!!

I noticed that too, TV Guide showed her being on last night so I recorded it (haven't watched it yet). While watching the first five minutes they said she'd be on today. The advertisement I saw, the clip was from Dec 21, 2007 so I don't know what to expect tonight.
