Barbra Streisand released "A Christmas Album" in 1967 and then "Christmas Memories" in 2001.  The first album is still one of the best selling Christmas albums ever.

a Xmas album is good cause doesn’t needs too much promotion

about the songs I want them in English, French Xmas songs sounds boring

the album is unneeded this year...anyway we all love new Celine's stuff and this one is kind of surprise

don't forget the rumors about Celine they became true after a while…like the world Tour, the D'elles, TC, the Fragrances....

I do think it'll have both english and french songs on there just like '' These are the special times''.....

I guess my prayers have been answered! i was secretly wishing for a new christmas album and here it is! I would love to hear her sing Silent Night, one of my favorites of all time.

But does that mean that there is no live cd/dvd or dvd of the tour this year? (Darren any insight on that?)

I hope though she would at least do a couple of shows to promote the album

And I can safely say that Celine will not be ''personally'' promoting anything until her return next year....

I won't be surprised, the album was recorded before she had the break. Maybe she took a few days in March before she went completely off of work. I think she won't ''personally'' promoting anything until her return next year too, maybe just a few video messages.

BUT, could this also mean the release date of the tour dvd....?!?   If he talked about the only release date he knows without clarifying if it's about a dvd or a cd. Though I don't know which would be cooler to come out first, the tour dvd or a completely new album..!

It can't be in french. In france, a Xmas album is the epitome of kitsh. No one buys them. We know that when she sings in french, they are first aiming at the French market , and then to the francophone market from Quebec. And the dusts for the other countries.

So if it happens, it's bound to be in english.
