Hey fellow Celine Fanatics!!

There a number of celebrities who own and have opened there own restaurants. To my knowledge I do not ever recall a 'Celine Dion & Rene' Resturant ever being opened.

If it was up to you what:

NAME - THEME - LOCATION & CHEFS SPECIALS MENU would you offer and recommend for such a restaurant for our QUEEN CELINE???

Im still thinking, so may put my thoughts in later!....LOL!!

Celine was associated with the Nickels, She start this restaurant in Quebec. And her families have some "franchise" (i don't now in english ??) Nickels in Repentigny (near from Charlemagne) was Maman Dion Restaurant and the Nickels in Terrebonne was Claudette's one.

Celine has the idea of the waitress suit.

Now she's no more associated with it, but at the first place Nickels was Celine and René restaurant.

Celine was associated with the Nickels, She start this restaurant in Quebec. And her families have some "franchise" (i don't now in english ??) Nickels in Repentigny (near from Charlemagne) was Maman Dion Restaurant and the Nickels in Terrebonne was Claudette's one.

Well, to answer the bolded section if a new restaurant was to be openned with Celine associated with here's the info. I'd create:

Name: Encounters

Theme: (Upscale) A restaurant resembling a theatre with a stage at the forefront. There would be special balcony tables, floor tables, and even a couple VIP tables right on the stage.

Location: Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, NV - U.S.A.

Entree: Tomato Souprano: A delightfully, tasty tomato soup full of tomatos (possibly?) picked by Celine herself! (Ha!)

Dessert: Singers' Nightmare Ice Cream Cake: A lavish, rich, and very creamy ice cream cake slice. I don't know if most would understand the reason why it would be a "nightmare." (If not the reason is because extremely creamy dairy products can wreck havoc on a singer's vocals during performance.)

If I think of more I'll post them.

A new Celine Dion owned restaurant (not Nickles that is) to me would be modern French cuisine or modern Mediterranean. With a more traditional high class restaurants style like Gordon Ramseys London restaurants (Claridges or Royal Hospital road)

Anyone agree?

I'm interested to know if anyone has pictures from when they visited? I would love to see what the inside looks like.

As for the food, it would be cool if she had cakes and appetizers and stuff made in the shape of frogs and high heels!!!!!!!!

Im actually imagining two different kinds of establishments. One high end style restaurant which I described earlier, and one cosy cafe style place with lots of cupcakes and cookies, warm colors, and comfortable chairs and sofas, and they would serve the best hot chocolate youve ever had.

HIHI, A year ago or something I had some great fantasies with a friend of mine on MSN about this.

It began with a comment of me about Celine's perfume:

Leanne: Paris Nights smells soooo good! Sometimes you wish you could drink it! But I won't do that. Celine has to come with something else. Celine Dion drinks or something.

Carolien: Yes, indeed. Of such a food chain. No mac Donalds, but Celine Dion Restaurants.

I don't think Celine needs to open a restaurant. I prefer her to open an orphanage or create her own foundation or charity.

Céline has already set up a foundation. It's called: The Céline Dion Foundation!! :whistling: Not kidding....

As for a restaurant name... How about calling it "PICK YOUR OWN TOMATOES!"

Italian restaurant. :giggle:
