did anyone else see it yet?

i read all the books ... well actually almost finished with the last one (breaking dawn) but i was impressed with the movie i thought they did a relatively good job including alot of the book
i would have liked seeing more interaction at school i thought they kinda just skipped alot of that but still loved it!

I saw the movie yesterday; and after reading all of the books, i was dissapointed.  The acting was very .. unrealistic to me.  Don't get me wrong, I am a huge Twilight fan, but only for the books. The movie was enjoyable and it stayed true to the book for most of it, but for some reason it wasn't something that I had expected to see for the movie. I felt that it lacked the real love that Edward and Bella shared. I wished that the movie had more of that lovey-dovey feeling I got when reading the books. It was really disappointing on that part, not to mention the awkward actors they chose for some of the characters. I also found myself laughing at some of the parts during the movie that meant so much more in the book. (when she Bella sits next to Edward in biology class and he grips the side of his desk) Which isn't a bad thing though.  You won't enjoy this movie if you've never read the book but at the same time you will be disappointed on many levels if you have read the book.

today i finished to read the last book, y gf is a HUGE fan and i read the books for her, and i loved the story, the love between Bella and Edward is soooo    it reminds me of me LOL  
anyway i still haven't watch the movie, but i will my gf liked it and i plan to see it soon, but i know that it won't be one of my fav movies

I'm not a fan of the books (I stopped reading the first halfway through because I lost interest) but just recently a friend I haven't seen in a couple years randomly decided to visit and she and another mutual friend both wanted to see Twilight so I really had no option. It was better than I expected, but, still...not a fan of the whole concept. The cinematography was kind of good (minus the few really bad continuation errors) but I found myself cringing a few times.

OMG I HAVE READ ALL THE BOOKS, and I must say they skipped soooooo MUCH in the movie!

But LOVE the whole series to death!

it wasnt that bad imo. i kinda liked it. of course you cant expect them to stuff in the ENTIRE book into a 2 hour movie. if they did, the movie would've lasted 9 hours instead of 2.

there was this guy sitting next to me who kept talking to his gf the entire movie and he talks as if he read the book i wanted to laugh real badly when i heard what he said

well i hadnt heard about twilight until i met people in my acting class who are completely in love with the books...so i decided to go watch the movie..overall i gave it a 7! i thought it would be better since its such " a phenomenon"... justin chon from the movie, the Korean guy actually studied at my acting studio..which is cool lol! he was great in the movie...hes so funny! but umm most of my friends who read the books said that the books are soooo much better than the movie!

since i saw the first one, now i have to watch all of them!

of course! i loooove the Harry Potter series but the movies all suck except for the 5th one

I loved the books... like LOVED them!  But I found the movie boring and disappointing.  The actress playing Bella was so annoying.  And sorry but isn't Rosalie supposed to be incredible looking?  Then why do they have Nikki Reed playing her, complete with nasty dark roots in her hair?  Ugh!  Hello?  She's supposed to be a natural blonde!   I was ready leave halfway though.  Snoozefest.

I've read all the books 5 times and I was dissapointed by the movie, especially at how little Alice was in it...she was like a huge part in their relationship........plus the fact that she was my favorite...

I tried to read Twilight and quit after four pages My attention span seriously isn't long enough for reading. However, I saw the movie and enjoyed it! To me it definitely seemed as if there was a lot of missing pieces in the movie. So I'd assume people are right about the book being better. & Now that I've seen the movie, my obsessed friend is still trying to get me to read the books so I suppose I will end up getting through it.

Thank you!!!!!!!! I thought  I was the only one that felt that way! She was a major deal in the books with helping Bella settle in and stuff and Esme was supposed to be like a huge motherly figure.

I never thought I'll like the movie cos I don't have any idea what's it all about but my friends are fans of the book and they wanted me to join, so i was like forced cos i rarely watch movies on theaters. When i was there and watch it, the movie is great! It's different compared to other movies that has vampires. One of the best movies of 2008.

I went to see the film twilight last week. I went with my friend who has already seen it but loved it so came back to see it again. I did enjoy the film. Although i thought it was quite slow to begin with but half way through it when it was more action, it was better. I got told the book was better than the film as it left parts out so i decided to see for myself & ordered the 3 books. Hope they are good

I was only coerced to watch this movie cos my friends are fans of the novel. When i got there, boom! the movie is great! I would consider it as one of the best movies of 2008.

I am a huge Twilight fan and fell in love with this love story of Bella and Edward after I decided to go see what the movie was all about and was hooked. I was so upset with myself that i never discovered these wonderful books before but i rushed out to get them all anyway and the journey began.

I read a lot of books as I love to switch off and escape into the world that the author has created. I get a lot enjoyment from it as I want to be a bestselling writer one day. I write all the time and have been since I was little. Characters have never seemed as real to me as they do in The Twilight saga. I have never loved or totally escaped into a book like this before. I still enjoy other books but it doesn’t hold the same magic for me anymore.

I was wondering what you guys thought of the whole Twilight world and what your favorite book of the series is and why and also some of your favorite parts in the books
Please tell me Im not the only one obsessed. I cant stop talking about these books hahaha

Its out on DVD on March 21st in USA and 6th April in the UK

I saw the movie and enjoyed it.  I pre-ordered the DVD and am just waiting for it to be released now.

I'm probably in the minority on this but I thought this movie was mediocre at best. I've never read the series but was able to predict the storyline before it was rolled out. The only cool part about this whole movie was the baseball scene. The acting is something I would expect from a high school production, but I guess in the end that's probably the target audience for this motion picture. But that's not really much of an argument because I have been farily entertained with other films targeted for a younger audience (HP, Narnia, etc...) D!

I saw themovie before reading the first book and I just fell in love with the whole romance and related to that OH MY GOD- never knew I could feel like this- type of love. I really enjoyed it and I think the success of this movie at the box office will mean alot of improvements are made budget-wise for the sequel. ...so then I read the book twice in 2 weeks. I just love the whole green, damp atmosphere in the book and you can just really imagine it. And I love Pattinson....I want a boyf like him.Here's a song being dubbed as 'Bella's Lullaby'- it isn't the real one used in the film but I think it's the nicest music ever- I listen to it over and over again.
