When I was in the front, there were two ladies next to my mom - and they stood a lot. Some guy halfway through the show told her to sit down and she turned around and went, "You stand UP!" And said something along the lines of, "It's a concert!" I was proud of her. I mean -- what are these people doing paying that kind of money to just sit and stare at a TV screen? Because there are times when you cannot see when she is clear on the other side of the stage (I was on the far corner as well)!

A concert is not made that to remain sat, otherwise so much stay at home and look at the show at the TV!!!
I 'also had this kind of thing September 10th to Newark two girls, want that I remain sat, as a result, I am in the path of the flowerbed is I remained up all the length, of the show!!!

The girls for this evening, TAKE ADVANTAGE!!!!!!!

Jen & Heidi. I'm so sorry for you, too .

But we had similar experiences in Hamburg, too. The nearer we came to the stage the more sad I got. The show went great though we couldn't see Céline several times.

After LCMM the old man next to me wanted to leave with his two little granddaughters (I think). I said to him that there were two songs left but he looked at me as if I was an alien or something. They then enjoyed RDMH in the hallway and left after it .
And the woman behind us poked us several times, too.

Hopefully today's show will be better and you will enjoy it more   !!!

We actually did scream "My Love" during the intro speach for that song (loudly!) however she was on the other side of the stage (as usual) and didn't hear us.

I don't know if I am the only one to have notice this but I thought Céline's eyes looked different then usual that night.(especially during the prayer). The light isn't there as usual.  I don't know if it's fatigue or sadness but having watch her for so many years now, those eyes weren't telling me that she was feeling her best that night.  Don't get me wrong, I think she's in top shape vocally and gives a great show, she would never let it show.  In fact, usually she gives more on nights when she not feelling that well   but those eyes that night...I don't know.... Maybe it's just me but I always thought Céline's eyes very much reflected always how she's feeling.  We'll see how those eyes looks in Tocama and maybe I'll stop worrying.

Wow, I'm sorry that you did not have a good time at that show.  

I do agree with you about the front row seats though. At one show I went to I had a floor seat,  in the smaller sections near the catwalk. I was against the back wall, four rows back but I was just as close at the people who had the front row seats in the larger floor sections. It was a pretty good seat, but as others have said you are always looking up and since Celine is all around the stage she is hardly ever in one section for that long. When I went to another show and was in the stands it was a much better view of everything.

The "in the round" setup is a compromise, but there really is not much you can do in these cavernous arena's to improve the view, etc. If she just did a regular arena setup where the stage was at one end then only the people with the close seats would get the best view/experience. The in the round thing tries to give more people a better view.

The thing is I think and a lot of us are spoiled by the LV theatre which was much smaller and had a lower stage, so you felt like you were a lot closer to the performance.

Having two weeks off just means two weeks not doing a show you know. She's been performing none stop for more than 6 years straight you know. She could be tired, she's always stressed and on a tension.

I went to her concert!! It was great! My first concert ever! I have pictures...I was in the 200s section so I wasn't that far away. I may post if I can find my cord to hook my camera up to my computer.

It only takes one night of bad sleep for someone to look tired LOL, even if they have been resting for 2 weeks. I doubt she was resting all that time though, it seems like she works through a lot of her breaks Or maybe she had PMS or an argument with someone. Hopefully she's fine, I'm just trying not to panic and worry here.

BTW what do you mean about her painting her nails? Lots of women do that from time to time, is it supposed to mean something?

And about the wedding ring, hasn't this been discussed a million times? She hasn't worn it more than a few times in the last 5 years. I also wonder why, but I doubt it means anything since it's been that long.

Hi all!  First time poster here    I went to the Portland show, it was AWESOME!  I'm not going to get into a lipsyncing debate because I don't think she was, not even sure why it is brought up at all.  Anyhow, our tickets were comped, section 300.  On our way to the show, we stopped for drinks at the Red Robin just 2 blocks from the Rose Garden, got to our seats at 7:59 (we could not have timed it better).  I feel so bad for Jennifer and Heidi and their experience with their front row tickets.  Our section was up dancing all night long and we had an awesome view. I think we were with the partiers (no geriatrics ) because our section seemed to really REALLY have a good time and enjoy Celine.  Their hearts were truly in the moment as was mine.  Their were moments that I could not control my tears, in fact my boyfriend had tocomfort me.  It was just so amazing especially when she first came to the stage, she was sooooo beautiful.  I love her so much and hope she comes back again to Portland SOON!! I do have some awesome videos you can check them out at you tube (channel cblgalpdx). I hope Jennifer and Heidi had a better time at the Tacoma show   


Anyhow, I was concerned when another forum member had mentioned her eyes and her wedding ring so I viewed my videos frame by frame all last night.  I was disheartened to see that her eyes did look so sad and there was no wedding ring what does it mean?  I don't want to stir anything up but now I am concerned.  I hope all is ok in Celines life.

See, people have been questioning why she doesn't wear it since last year at least, probably even longer. And I'm sure she's had many both happy and sad moods since then!

And yeah, I'm almost scared to say this with all the celebrity divorces and rumours at the moment, it's awful. I hate how easily people give up on marriages. I feel so bad for the kids involved. And even the fans, it's such a let down. But hopefully, probably, things are ok with Celine.

wow... that my love video..       Check her out RIGHT AT 4:20.. its the saddest I've ever seen her be infront of a full audience. I'm not going to try to guess why or anything though, but she looks like a million things are going through her head and then she remembers she's in the middle of a song..

AND THEN- RIGHT AT 5:30.. you can tell shes fighting the tears.. through the end, you can kind of hear her breathing hard like she just wants to break down. I know the song is hard for her, but she must just be feeling burnt out too! I think it would be a cool thought if during MY LOVE, she gets strength from her fans screaming and stuff.. its like.. it has to go through her head "they'll never leave me... they've always been there" ...


AND about this touchy topic about her ring.. I"M SOOOO POSITIVE ITS NOT A BIG DEAL!   I mean, honestly, If I had a huge diamond that meant ALOT to me and i was going on stage and being active and stuff, I probably would wear it either.. just for safety precausion. I mean, maybe she hands it to Rene before every show! You never know! I'm sure the other rings she wears are just costume jewelry and it wouldn't matter to her if a jewel fell out or if she lost it.. but the wedding ring.. thats a biggy! Don't worry so much =)

I had tickets to this concert, but opted to see Tina Turner instead, so my friend took his boyfriend who isn't really a huge Celine fan (he's actually a Wynonna Judd obsessed fan), but after seeing it said it was the best concert he's ever been to!  My friend said the seats were right off the side of one of the walkways and when Celine came up to the end he touched her hand!  Anyway, I'll have to tell him that the whole concert is on youtube!  I am going to watch the videos and see what I missed (though Tina was something I just wasn't going to pass up).
