To me Gilmore Girls was one of the best shows ever, I think the CW made a mistake in cancelling it. Then again I'm not sure what the later seasons are like as the UK haven't released the DVDs past Season 3 and I've heard the show got bad towards the end. I love Lorelai, she's brilliant and Lauren Graham was the perfect person to play her. Now I wanna go and watch my dvds :D But in answer to your question, yes I'm a fan.

I watch this show too. But after borrowing my cousin's dvds, and watching the show on marathon season 1-4, i found the show a bit claustrophobic in the sense that every character talks too fast, everyone fights on the silliest things, the tension between lorelai and her parents too over-dramatic and the town they live in Stars Hollow always seem to have the weirdest festivals.

and like davey said, its repetitive. one episode after the next, the same formula.

I know soooo cute. When his dog dies in season 8 this rocker guy had to play an acoustic version of My Heart Will Go On for the funeral I love it he's a Celine fanatic too.

The talking fast trend with the Gilmore Girls is like my favourite part and Lorelai is the funniest character on the show... I wish it was still on!

Well, the creators of the show, Amy and Daniel, left the season before the last and it really showed. It was a good run though :) And yes, I got all the DVDs :D At one point Target had like four seasons at $20/each during Black Friday and I started my collection then. Makes me wanna pop in a DVD sometime soon ;) COPPERBOOM!

I LOVE Gilmore Girls!! It is quite possibly the most genius show ever made.

My mom and I are the "real life" version of the gilmore girls.  We have the exact same relationship, we talk the same, like the same things.  There were even times she and I were having a conversation and in the next episode of Gilmore girls they were having the same conversation or making the same jokes.  It was seriously spooky.

I still have to buy all the seasons on DVD I just haven't had the time/money to do so yet.

I've been watching some episodes again these past days, and I thought I'd start a topic here if there wasn't any, but great you had already started! So I'm bringing this up again.  ^_^
It's such a fantastic show really, the best ever made!  :) Lorelai is my favourite character too, she's so amazing especially with the way she speaks! Plus, Lauren Graham is pretty hot!  B)  
And Michel's love for Céline, that's so coool of course.  ^_^   And I've always loved Luke, though he's a little grumpy, but he's such a MAN.. :drool: One of the rare ones I actually adore!  

I don't yet have the last two seasons in dvd, haven't had the money yet to buy them. But soon, I hope..  ^_^

I just watched the episode where she starts Yale.

I need to get the DVD's. I love this show.

I think I have only seen 4 seasons :shrug:

Most of the actors and actresses who play the parts of people in their late teens and early 20's are a few years older.
I remember when Beverly Hills 90210 first came out and the girls in my school discovered that they were actually 24 to 28 years old at the time ........ Serious Panic :laugh:

Well.... I've discovered that they show reruns on ABCFamily almost everyday now so I'm catching up on anything I missed :clapping:
