Hey all,

Please share your favourite live performance of TPOL !

Mine (hard to decide !!) I would say is the one at the Olympia 1994. I'd die to have a video of it, but the audio we have on the album is amazing.

One thing though, I'd be dying for as well, is for her to sing the full text, and not only the radio version.

Please share !

My absolute favourite song and so many incredible live performances.
This is probably one of my favourite performances of the song... Not only is it 100% live, she also sings the album version of the song with the complete text!

My absolute favorite live version is the one she performed at the 'Superproducer' tribute concerts to David Foster in Japan back in 1994. It was a couple of days before her round of concerts there with TCOML tour, her look was stunning and not to mention that this was the only time the song was performed in its entirety!

I didn't know of this show in Japan pre-TCOML tour back in 1994, but this version of TPOL really is amazing !

Did she sing the song full text in other shows or TV ?

Agree with you. This is the only version of TPOL I listen to. And the only track on the concert cd I listen to lol

Never seen this one before... I'm so glad we have so many examples of Céline singing this song 100% live and doing it so incredibly well!

I will die a happy man if I ever get to see her do this live again in person.

I think white suits her very well: look in ACDS, in TCWT and of cours the white outfit she had in USF :)

Sony should release the Brunei concert on DVD. We could then watch this performance with high video quality and with crystal clear sound.  :wub:

Well they could do that rather easily as it was professionally filmed. So they already have it,it just needs modernising.

I forgot to add the two times that I saw Celine live. At the Air Canada Center on Aug 28th, 2008 and the 2nd time on June 17th, 2012 in Las Vegas. Both times she performed The Power Of Love, so how could I not include those performances. LOL.

I love them all though, so hard to choose a favorite.

The best vocal she has given of the song is the rehearsal at the Juno awards. Hands down is better than the studio, the playbacks, and all the other live performances

Yeah I love it too!  Would love to hear her perform it with stripped down accompaniment with the voice she has now.  It was so bombastic to begin with could be a nice change imo.
