On ITUNES the most popular Celine Dion tunes downloaded are listed as: "Taking Chances, I drove all night, Because you loved me and Alone"---maybe "Alone" could be a strong selling factor for this collection as many like it and it's performed on the tour as well?

I believe all the people who liked and bought the old stuff, will swarm to get this. Thats why All the Way is selling well now.
My opinion but watch this space

I agree - All The Way is still really popular in the UK - they still have loads of the cds in music shops and stuff - I saw a lady buy a copy of ATW last week - i was very excited!!
I think that it will do well in the UK certainly, I couldnt say for the rest of the world.

Yeah, if Taking Chances only managed 214,000 opening week with an Oprah appearance I don't see this one hitting more than 90,000 even with some promo.

Yep:
Billboard.biz:
Celine Dion's return to the pop scene, "Taking Chances," bows at No. 3 with 214,000. Her last proper studio album was 2003's "One Heart," which started at No. 2 with 432,000. (Since then she has released a number of French-language sets, a live album from her Las Vegas show and a concept album with baby photographer Anne Geddes.) ...

I wouldn't leave out John Legend, too.
A Top 10 debut in the US would be more than enough for this album and if it reaches GOLD there by the end of the tour, it would be good considering that even 'popular and hip' artists like Mariah and Madonna with huge singles are struggling. As always, Sony would only send the single 'My Love' to AC radios and I don't expect anything from it. A Top10 showing there will make Sony happy

If there are two editions of a compilation, I think it will be like ONCP with the 2-cd, 1-cd, 2-cd + dvd releases. If it is like that, I wouldn't mind getting all the editions as long as I'm happy with the tracklist as I was with ONCP (which is very unlikely with an anglophone compilation)
