To be honest, i am a bit nervous.
I just hope for new songs. This is what counts for me the rest doesnt matter. If they really put some unreleased tracks WE dont know i am happy. It would be a nice gift!

My Love: Essential Collection is a greatest hits album by Canadian singer Céline Dion. The release date is set for October 27, 2008 in Europe and October 28, 2008 in North America.[1]

The standard edition will include eighteen tracks with few new songs: "Let Me Be Your Soldier" (written by Kara DioGuardi and David A. Stewart, and produced by John Shanks), "I'll Be Your True Love" and "Will Never Go Away." The 2CD version will be released as well.

There will be also a re-recording of "My Love," from Dion's 2007 album Taking Chances, into the arrangement used on the Taking Chances Tour that has been very popular among fans. It will be released as the first single from the album. Céline Dion performed it at the 43rd annual Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon via satellite from her Taking Chances Tour concert in Montreal. The telethon took place on August 31, 2008 and was simultaneously broadcasted on television stations throughout the United States and Canada.[2]

Céline Dion will also sing the theme song in Japanese for the Japanese film Maboroshi no Yamataikoku, which will be released on November 1, 2008. Dion will sing "A World to Believe In." The melody was re-composed and Japanese lyrics were added for the film, which stars Sayuri Yoshinaga.[3] The soundtrack will be released in Japan on October 22, 2008 and the 4-track CD single will be released as well.[4]

I see your point but remember that we have to do with Sony BMG and this is NOT a nice company. They won't please us with multiple number of new/unreleased/rare tracks. If you mean they'd include "Let your heart decide" this is one new song less in this maximum of 5 new songs.

Anwyay, this is just another reason why I think that "The collector's series - Volume 2" should come out one day   An album with all those rare/B-side tracks.

:sigh:  I'll say it again for the thousandth time..."Let Your Heart Decide" isn't known to every Celine fan.  It certainly isn't known here in America.  The song wasn't released here.  Plus, the song was only released on a CD single that was promoted in Europe and nowhere else (to my knowledge).  Adding "Let Your Heart Decide" wouldn't be a bad decision.  Just because the die-hard fans know about it because of collecting CD singles and/or by coming here doesn't mean it can't be new to the rest of the world.  Besides, if one was to take that stance the song "Is Nothing Sacred (Anymore)" shouldn't be released on CD simply because it's well-known on the Internet.  After all we are in the Digital Age.  So does that make sense?  I didn't think so.
