Bags of Hermès, like the "Birkin", are counting to the most prestigous and expensive bags in the world. For nearly all of them even stars do have to wait and pay prices around 10.900 Dollars and more (depending on the size and leather). Céline possesses some of them (http://www.celinedio...bum=354&page=57)

But another Hermès bag she carried last year in Paris, ranges in a whole different dimension: The limited edition "Kelly Bag Himalaya Crocodile". Depending on the size and the leatherworking it costs between 50.000 and 150.000 Dollar!! With this bag Hermès responded to the surprising collecting phenomenon of the "Birkin Himalaya". So they crafted a limited number of "Kelly Himalayas" for top clients, like Cèline.

The first time I heard about this crazy bag was some years ago as a "Himalaya Birkin" with gold and diamond hardware was auctioned off for over 300.000 Dollar!! Apart from the price I asked myself: "Wow, there are crocodiles in the Himalaya area?" The truth is, there are none. For this bag an animal, who once stood on the red list of endangered species (meanwhile recovered), has to bite the dust: the Nile crocodile.  Through a very long and elaborate process the hide is then dyed and receives these extraordinary shades, which reminded the designers of the snowcapped mountains of the Himalaya.

Regarding the price of this bag it's no wonder that Céline handed it over to her bodyguard, while getting out of the car on the airport in 2017.

as an animal lover, I don't particularly like the fact she wears these authentic leather (or fur) accessories/clothing. Are the methods used by the designer/fashion house to acquire the skin for these humane? Is that information available?

If you google I am sure informations can be found. I don't know them in particular and don't feel the drive searching for it - not because I'm indifferent, but because it's a never ending story! And if starting this debate, we can shut down the Celinish Closet cause in every piece of wardrobe there can be found inhuman methods or disadvantages, I am sure.
F.ex. Is it better wearing only plastic like polyester or acetat which poisions our seas and environment? Killing rare animals in the name of fashion is a true crime, but so is childerns work which still exist. And what about the Indian coloring farms where people are dyeing fabrics for a nothing of wage until their lungs implode? Or using fibers of plants where fields are sprayed with insecticides that kill butterflys and bees? Or useing "blood diamonds" that are mined in war zones and sold to finance war efforts or warlord's activities? Or the horrible methods of animaltesting for the beauty industry?

Yes, I wish too Céline would use her popularity to raise awareness and act as a role model in not wearing hides or furs of rare animals or not drinking mainly this Fiji water which must be flown around the world and poisions the air though their planes and delivery trucks. Or not using cosmetics which used animaltested ground substances. But it is as it is. Some people choose to live in awareness, others don't.

This all only to emphasize that it is a very complex and nearly endles theme.

I love animal too, but I prefer to see a bag from phyton than to see a phyton eat a farmer like what happened in my country.

I guess I have a double standard for my love to an animal.

When Céline wears Céline! As the bag is from their 2016-collection the "e" still got the accent (since this year their new creative director Hedi Slimane deleted the accent in the brand's name).

The bag's called "Sangle Seau Bag". It comes with two straps: A longer one in leather to wear crossbody and a shorter one in webbed wool, like the one Céline choosed in Paris last year. I couldn't find the exact same bag, only a similar one in grained goatskin, but presumably she is wearing one in white calfskin, similar to the additional pictures to watch more bag details.

The original-price was around 1.160 Dollars, but I also saw some bags reduced to 260 Dollars.

The sunglasses are "Dior Split2 59MM Mirrored Aviator". They cost between 400 and 600 Euros.

Yes, the dress of Versaces "2019 Resort Pre-Spring"-collection is nearly all over embroidered with tiny glass pearls. Handcrafted by Donatella herself - just kidding :sofunny:
That all has it's price: 14.800 Euros. For one dress with tausends of pearls. Must have been quite heavy to wear.

Well, regarding her fashion interested mother it's no wonder Nelson and Eddy wear labels too, like in June 2016:
The croco shirt is from the kids fashion line of Marc Jacobs "Little Marc Jacobs". Original price for a shirt was £ 31, meanwhile reduced to £ 12.

First time I saw Céline wearing those shoes last year, I thought they were knitted. :giggle:But with a better picture I discovered they are made of pearls, partly covered with see-through fabric. That made it easy to find the designer: But it came as a complete surprise that "Mr. Kim Kardashian" himself, Kanye West, created these love-them-or-hate-them-shoes. They are from the spring 2012 collection of his collaboration with one of the "shoe-Gods", Giuseppe Zanotti. The calfskin and suede shoe is persumably embroidered by hand with hundreds of partly tiny pearls. Watching closely the workmanship isn't that exquisite as the original-price of 5.843,24 Dollar might expect. 6 years later, I saw them for 289,66 Dollar. Maybe Céline made a snatch @ the sales! :hmm:
(Ah, yes, Kim owes a pair too. Probably didn't have to pay for it ... if anyone's interested. I don't really.  :sofunny:)

Not totally sure about her shoes, but as these funny ones by Christian Louboutin stayed in my mind ... hmmm :hmm:.... maybe. If yess, they are out of his 2017-autumn/winter “Loubi-Athlete”-collection,  called "Crampetta". Orginally priced £ 895 now already seen for around  £ 120. They feature a rubber lined sole with  arcs in the platform. The gold block heel is 14 cm. For the collection he drew his inspiration from sneakers combined with "the energy of athleisure" (although I don't know how to do it with 14cm heels ... haha :sofunny:).

For the presentatiin of her bag collection in Montreal Céline wore t-strap sandals with chain-effect platform in "rose" by one of the "shoe-Gods": Casadei.

Calf leather. 14,5 cm heel. Original price around € 700, a white version seen for £ 92, the "rose" ones seem to be sold out.

Cesare Casadei, 56, learned about shoes from his parents who started in 1958 in Rimini, Italy, with sandals for tourists. Cesare opened his first showroom in 1990 in Milan, Italy.

Someone called the beige/red-version "the ugliest shoes of all time", IMO they're cool: Gucci’s "Ilse Sock Sandals" from their spring/summer collection of 2017. For her shopping in Paris with the kids in July 2017 Céline choosed the red/black one's (she owns the beige/red too).

Made of patent leather, the multifunctional shoes can be worn as ankle boots together with latex socks or without them as pure sandals (although I don't know how to walk in these, as only four tiny straps remain to balance on a thin 4,5 inch heel). Original price 1.190 Dollar - a true snatch, as you get two shoes in one!

In any case her look became famous as it was nearly "Gucci all over", as the trousers and the blouse came from the same spring/summer collection (thank God she didn't choose the goggles and cap of the runway-look too).
Only her bag (Hermès, Birkin) and the shirts of the kids weren't Gucci. The shades I haven't found yet. But they are persumably Lindberg as she bought them on that day.

Nelson wears a "Kurt Cobain Short Sleeve Raglan" by "Rowdy Sprout", 38 Dollars.

Eddy wears a "Paris Guitar Tee" by "Californian Vintage", 45 Euros.

Because of the striking details eeeasy to find outfit-pieces, which Céline rocked in Stockholm last year:
Ankle boots by the one and only "Mr.-Red-Sole" Christian Louboutin. The name of them is as crazy as the shoe itself: "Toubootfrou frayed". They are crafted from beige leather overlaid with - no, not fur, as I thought in first place - it's pink silk-chiffon which edges are left raw for "fluttery texture". (I put up here the black ones too to watch more details). The color of Céline's called "Shocking", stiletto heel 10 cm.

"Never forget"-sweater by "Filles a papa". Couldn't find the original price. But it's on sale around 25 Dollars! (Finally something bankrupt-through-last-show-ticket-"stalker"-fans :sofunny: can afford.)

The bag emerged from Louis Vuitton and is it's (IMO) beauuutifuuul "Capucine's"-bag. Céline carried the "Taurillon Studded BB" in black. The leather is adolescent bull with studded logo. It costs 3.250 Euro.

Everytime I see that sweater I think the images are Disney princess lol.
Celine manages to make any piece of clothing look elegant.

I like this outfit a lot.

Haha, that is funny! Exactly what I thought,when seeing the sweater for the first time, which was a really blurry pix. I thought those where Disney characters. :sofunny:
Well, you're right. Céline can wear nearly everything ... although ... last year ... the nearly 8.000-Dollar-Balmain-Snake-Coat puh. That piece was so ugly plus that ugly cap ... all Céline's elegance and coolness couldn't help!

It was "good, old Madonna" way back in the 80ies who set the trend to wear visible lingerie as a fashion statement. For the "Hollywood Reporter"-shooting in early 2017 Céline followed that trend which never really left the fashion world over all these years. She wore La Perla's "Matilda Corset" (£119). It's made of black French lace and blush powermesh and has detachable adjustable shoulder straps, black satin bows, elasticated waistband, boning, removable padding at molded hips, detachable adjustable suspender straps.

The lipstic Céline held as if it was a cigar was Charlotte Tilburys "K.I.S.S.I.N.G" lipstick, £24.00. The color is hard to tell, maybe "Nude Kate" or "*CENSORED* Perfect" ( :sofunny:  ... colornames created by Tilbury :sofunny: )

With this dress it was the other way around, as usual I was looking for something totally different, as it hopped into my eye on a shopping-page last year. I knew I had seen Céline wearing that dress with "that funny moderator", who's name didn't come into my mind. And googling "funny moderator" didn't really help. :sofunny:  But then, months later, I saw a picture of him plus his name (Mo Rocca) and then it was easy to find that interview . It was broadcast in October 2016 on CBS Sunday Morning.

She wore the "Silk Masai Collar Asymatrical Tunic Dress in Mangosteen" of the Swiss (Europe) fashion label Akris. The label was founded in 1922 and it's name is taken from the first letters of the founder Alice KRIemler-Schoch.

The dress is made of Mulberry silk and viscose. Mulberry silk is obtained from the cocoons of the larvae of the Mulberry silkworm ("Bombyx mori"). The dress has a round neck, slitted long sleeves, buttoned cuffs, a detachable leather masai collar, side slit pockets (as we know since the "Met Gala" pockets are important for Céline!), sheer with tank-top slip and a asymmetrical hem with an extralong back.

The original price was 2.990 Dollar, last year it was around 1.495 Dollar.

PS: Did you notice Céline's beautiful Colored French Manicure nails during that interview? And that gorgeous ring she was wearing I'm still searching. If anyone of you know, how such kind of ring is called in English, informations would be highly appreciated.

As I wrote in my posting: Up til now I don't know nothing about it. It looks as if it is ONE ring. But I don't even know how such kind of ring is called in English or German. So it's very hard to tell. And as Frida once wrote: Finding jewelry is far harder than finding wardrobe pieces. Even with HD pictures. If the jewelry hasn't really distinctive features it's nearly impossible to find.

But maybe some visitor up here knows, how such kind of ring is called - then I can try my best finding it.

Today let's look on her make up table during the Asia Tour 2018.

The tubas are different shades of Charlotte Tilbury's "Light Wonder", a "youth boosting perfect skin foundation" with SPF 15. It "creates a flawless, glowing complexion, evens out the skin tone with this lightweight formula and gives the perfect base for makeup".

It costs 42 Euros.
