But I'm not saying though that she has written the best or most beautiful or greatest song ever created. Jim Steinman is a nominee.

hmmm... indeed she's talented... well i believe that diane writes songs but doesn't produce the music itself coz i think she can collaborate with david foster or maybe with other like K. Lundin to have the music to the lyrics she wrote... bottom line: she can still write songs for celine but let the other producers produce for the music rhythm beat etc... for sure it'll be a big hit again! just like the LOVE CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS... weeeeeewwww...! anyways musicians can be flexible and D. Warren can.... if you've heard songs from Cher:Turn Back Time which happened to be an uptempo believe me, D. Warren wrote and produced that song! Why not try to Celine...

I hope she will work again with D. Foster knowing that D. Foster helped Celine to hit the top by aiding her to produce her album UNISON... and ofcourse she must look back over her past especially to those people who helped her during the years of hardship in trying to reach for success... and there's nothing wrong to include some Ballads in her albums though most songs can be uptempo beats or like RnB... at leat there's something we can hear for relaxation and when we emote lolz...

Lots of great stories behind the music.
I mean, I knew she wrote a lot of iconic songs, but man, she really wrote a lot of iconic songs!
She talks about BYLM at ~45min (apparently Tim Rice called her after the Oscars that year - after the Evita song won - telling her he thought BYLM should have won, so that's nice of him. That's Sir Tim Rice. You know, the one who, among other things, also gave us... the English version of Ziggy...
The RBG song that she's up for this year is not her greatest IMHO... but she really is overdue for an Oscar.

I agree...
But I’m just waiting for Celine to win ANY award that’s worthwhile again, a GRAMMY or OSCAR even a World Music Award, she hasn’t won anything unless it’s a special award like the Diamond Award or Legend Award.

Here (https://www.theguard...-best-song-jinx) you can read: "Warren almost always has a speech prepared, just in case. “The speech that I end up putting in my pocket,” she laughs. “I do it every year except when I was up against My Heart Will Go On, it was like: ‘OK, don’t bother.’"
Ah ah she's cute
But unfortunately, she lost again this year... I hope she will write another theme song for Céline and that she will win thanks to her one day (remember that she lost with "Because you loved me", against "You must love me" from "Evita")
***I speak French, sorry for my mistakes in English. I would be very happy if you write me a private message to tell me when I make mistakes, as I want to improve my English***

Technically, Celine never win any Oscar because the Oscar for The Best Original Song goes to the composer of the song. But Celine sing two songs that won the Oscar. They are Beauty and the Beast and My Heart Will Go On.
