"And it proved something else to me. People call Christina Aguilera the voice of OUR generation. I have seen Christina Aguilera live as well and she did not even come CLOSE to Celine as far as vocals, stage presence or entertainment value. And Christina had a LOT more going on on her stage than Celine did. Celine is world class and there is no true DIVA of our generation (YET) as far as I'm concerned. Whitney and Celine were the last. True PERFORMERS that can command a stage so easily."

when i met her thats what struck me, shes so tiny she's like a little doll. I really do think she looks like a doll. tiny body, tiny shoulders. Thats why some people think shes so thin, its not that shes too thin, just normal slim but very very petite. She is much shorter in real life. I've heard people say 5'5, 5'6, 57'5,maybe because in different countries its different. Anyway, she was wearing flat shoes when i met her and she was my height, no taller, and i'm 5'5 (unless you count the big hair, with that she might be 5'6 ha ha)! normal height, not tall for sure.

Oh and the marks on her dress someone spoke about....well it does look like sweat or like her dress wasn't completely dry. I've never noticed those marks in previous concerts so something must have happened!
She looked stunning and I love her hair tooooo! beautiful!
I didn't see anything but it was probably sweat or maybe baby oil or some makeup or something (her legs were shiny with oil or something she loooked great).

I was sitting in the balcony, so I thought my review might take a different angle then others. They would not let people into the Target Center until 7:15 and thousands were standing around waiting...what a mess. Anyway, I was worried that people might not shoe because of the 3 date changes and weather, but 16,000 came, which was good at least. I was also worried people would not be happy because of the weather, but it did not snow until way late at night! Gordie Brown came out around 8 and performed until 8:40. Celine came out at 9:00 and people were very thrilled to see her. I think Gordie helped get them a little less stressed. I think I Drove All Night was a good opener and people stood up for it at least and were excited, especially when she said: "Is That Alright Minneapolis?" the crowd also loved the power of love, probably even more so because it was an older crowd to be honest.
She then sincerely apologized for all of the date changes and you could see it in her eyes how honest it was. My personal favorite quote:
"I appreciate your patient" (instead of patience)
Mego's New Flamenco was fun and Eyes On Me
People went crazy for Barnev during I'm Your Angel, which was pretty cool. They cheered so loud whenever he sang. I enjoyed Alone as well, but thought she spent too much time on that one side (of course I was on the other side). I was very glad she sang Pour Que Tu M'Aimes Encore because it is a personal favorite and of course it was sung flawlessly. My Love was also perfect again. Before My Love she sang parts of Purple Rain, I just missed recording it but it was funny she talked about having his phone # "I Wish" and she turned to Mego and was like "He's from here, did you know that!" Very cute! THeThe Prayer was also nice - Christmasy at least. I felt the Soul Medley to be kind of strange, but I guess it worked. It's A Man's Man's Man's World was also fun and she loved singing it.
She asked everyone to stand up for Love Can Move Mountains and everyone did! Even most of the balcony, which was very nice. She said "Thank You, Goodnight" after and people started leaving.
Overall, she gave 200% and you could tell she felt really bad for all of the inconveniences and she really wanted to make it up to the audience. The audience was decent and may not have showed the fact that they loved it as much as they did!
I waited off these 10 months and did not watch the interlude videos and I have say I thought they were stunning and celine did an amazing job!
I am very thrilled I finally got to see this amazing show!

I just got back from the concert. It was great. The roads going down to the TC were great-coming back they were getting bad so I'm glad that the concert wasn't over the weekend.
Here is my review of my night (it's kind of long but I don't want to leave anything out):
We (group of 3) arrived early to our hotel (Embassy suites-stay there it is great if you go to the twin cities, great comp. bar/breakfast and the rates were good but the pool was closed). Right away when we checked in the guy at the desk right away said "Are you down for the concert?" We said yes-a lot of people were down there for the concert.
We used the skywalk to get to the TC-got lost twice but two guys helped us. We arrived a little before 7 and everyone was waiting in the skywalk to enter and they were super excited (BTW I'M SORRY I DIDN'T SEE CELINEANGEL OR ANYONE THAT I KNOW OF ON THE FORUM;-( ).
The doors opened a little after 7, our tickets were scanned and we were helped to our seats and they were asking people if they wanted drink (is this a VIP thing?) which were like 4 bucks for a bottle of water lol (FL 7 row 3). People were piling in kind of late so Gordie Brown didn't take the stage until about 8:15. Brown was on for 30 minutes and there was a delay for about 15 min. At that point almost all the seats were filled (95-98?%).
Celine came on stage at 9. People on the floor were going nuts a person in front of me had a sign, people on the left of the stage had signs, a card and roses. When she took the stage everyone was standing up and taking pics. I didn't because I don't have a dig. camera. AFter that everyone sat down so people could see. Security told people in the isle to sit down a one point during the show. A few people in front of me and back of me were really annoying with the cameras lol.
The opening she was wearing the lilac dress (and later the vest outfit, white outfit, sexy gold outfit, and black dress) and was stunned at the people there (probably b/c of the postponement. She apologized to Minneapolis for the month wait, talked about her mom, son, etc and that she could talk forever.
She sang the songs everyone has been listed-no x-mas song or Queen but PQTME yes. She talked about Prince as well.
We were like 10 feet away from her-amazing. She is younger looking in person and she is really tiny. She has long legs that make her look taller but she is average hight (5 ft 7 in?))
I know a lot of people have debated the lip-synching (like TPOL I'M YOUR LADY part) but I think everything was live compared to the Youtube clips. Nothing sounded lipped.
RDMH and MHWGO everyone was standing up. They lit real candles during MHWGO and they were like 15 ft from the stay so we didn't see her until the end when was was to the side and front of us.
She got off the stage at the opposite side of me and did get the flowers some brought as we saw on the screen. Everyone in my party had a great time (except for a guy spilling a wine drink on my tourbook but I managed to save it lol and walking back to the hotel after the skywalk was closed lol.)
Did anyone buy a shirt? Did anyone go to the VIP/soundcheck/package? I didn't on both.
Anyway, if I see her again I will get seats higher up as someone else suggested. It was great being close to the stage though).
Anyway, that is my review! My first time seeing Celine yahoo!!
Hi, great review. I was in Floor 1, Row 8. It is true that Celine does look younger and more tiny in person. Even my dad commented on her looks. Great night, fantastic show, and another sold-out crowd.

I have more details than what has been put here, but from where I was at that was the worst crowd so dead everywhere no signs that I saw or gifts or anything so I assumed it was the same as the other side oops! Glad more people are finding reviews. I really missed not getting so see any of you! I braved the cold for Celine for an hour until she arrived and I spoke to Michel before and after!
I'm shocked that there was not 1 fan out there before the show but me and only 2 after that left while I was still there! I'm writing my own detailed review for my own personal diary, but I'll have to cut it way down for you all and leave a lot out it in notebook pages it is 16! I'll try for 3 in separate posts.
Like I said before ask away and I will tell you anything that happened from the time I arrived to the time I left I found so much luck all day.

Dream #1 accomplished.
While singing a ballad the only time Celine looked at me was the time I had my sign up luckily!
She stretched out her arm palm faced up while singing with even more emotion in her eyes when she saw it, so it seemed like it was just for me at that moment.
Dream #2 accomplished with the extra bonus!
She came and left on my side. I went out 1 row, held up my sign and she stopped, held it herself,
and just looked at it with an awe expression on her face, stunned and amazed when she saw all the glitter!
She looked me in the eyes with those beautiful brown eyes of hers she was tuned into me at that moment and didn't look away, again her looking so emotional as I said with a sincere look on my face to her "It took me 5 hours to make this." (could have been more not sure)
She looked down and away very touched like maybe she wanted to cry then she HUGGED me!!!
She held me for more than just a moment She really took her time! I said to her while about to cry from the hug, "I love you so much!" Then that was it I don't think she said a word to me.
I was crying and saying omg all night with my heart racing and my mind in SHOCK from the unexpected hug and my eyes so sore from crying. I was ready to drop when I got home, but was so emotional I stayed up until 6:30 a.m.! Cried a little for a few days after. Sign and front row seat saved the day!
Dream #3 accomplished... Me at :13 NOT my video.

Is the LTAL concert in Minneapolis 9 years ago better than the TC tour?
I can't sleep once again and this has affected me emotionally just like she first show in 1999 when I could barely talk and think without crying, so I kept to myself a lot.
Most people would ask what is wrong or if somebody died or broke up with me! I'm so emotional after you have no clue. In Las Vegas I didn't cry like that after I was cool and calm.
It's really close Chula, but the excitement of the first one nothing can beat when you're at the most obsessed years when you first really get into her unless you're obsessed 24/7 lol!
Song selection ABM, PQTME, RDMH, never heard before so those were definitely highlights as well as the new ones. "Because You Loved Me" holds a special place in my heart
because I have performed that for people several times and people love it and it was the first song I fell madly in love with even though IACBTMN was the official song that got me into her voice! Those moments with Celine that I had were what sealed the deal and made me think less about my crappy view even though it was front row.
I cried so much because I was in total shock through the beginning and my mind kind of was just stuck
and it didn't even feel like I was there like I was in a dream or watching a dvd cause of the screens were such great quality even though being so close and being on a crappy corner I could barely see them!
Celine rarely came out on my end. I missed all the lights, I couldn't see much at all because the stage was so high and that was the most disappointing part of the entire show. Everything blocked my view! The damn camera man with the tripod on my side and the cord guy by my feet and the security and you will see what I'm talking about when I get my videos up.
I got some video clips, but I regret not taking more and working harder because my mind is a blur focusing on Celine that I forget to change my lighting settings and test the zoom. I tested out the flash levels and I got one okay pic from the cat walk, but for being front row my camera makes it look like I'm farther back.
See this is already a long post, so it will be way more than 3!
I was like wtf when I heard this sped up version of I'm Alive which was not what I was expecting.
Still it has been one of my favorite songs since it was released. Liek everyone else I wish she would do "That's The Way It Is live!"
She is so pretty though her eyes are the most beautiful sparkling brown eyes on a woman, and I'm more for blue ones!
I will be back later with much more.
