I'm going to this show if anybody else is, then it would be nice to see you at the venue.
The acoustics in the venue are bad as people have told me, BUT I've seen
Celine there for the "Let's Talk About Love" world tour practically in the back of the venue way up high and
Celine sounded great, and the big screens helped for me to see her very well.
Binoculars helped me see her on stage where she looked like an ant without them.
I hope to upgrade my ticket seeing as I'm a die-hard Celine fan, but didn't have any money saved up this far in advance.

I ended up with the cheap seats in the back again, but this time I could not get sides for the lowest price
like I did way back then! I deserve better I tell ya! I still get to see her though.
Such a long wait.

Nobody is going? I found my pics from the LTAL tour that I took with a disposable camera.
I cropped them and enhanced them so they were not so faded.
This is from dead center in the back of upper level. This was a heart shaped stage in the round.
I pointed the camera at the big screen so at least I would have something that turned out.

I have a few friends who go to school in the cities but don't really know the area well. I'm hoping to arrive mid-afternoon, and go hunting for her after the show too lol!! what do you think?

Hey glad to see that more of you coming to this show. There are good seats that have just been released and I want to ask my friend to get one for me on his card and I could pay him back. Then I could sell my nosebleed seat on Ebay.

This is funny all of you were born in 1989 so you're all 19 right?
I'm 24.

I can't be out early because I will be at my volunteer job. I get off at 3:00. I think the best place to meet is in the lobby through the main doors by the soda machines before they open the next set of doors to scan your tickets, or after the show in the same place. Celine is said to be fast moving after shows.
Does anybody know where she is staying or have any info at all?
I will be wearing my pink Celine shirt or something
else that is cute.

Sorry if I see Aly a.k.a. CelineDionFREEEK, I'm offering her my Team Celine freebies. I don't use my stuff
because I keep it in a box. So I figured the first person to say they are going will get it from me.

It would be great to chat. I'm not sure yet if my other friend will be coming with me, but I try my best to make it when the doors open an hour prior to the show, or at least 30 minutes before the show so I don't miss a minute. I'm taking the city bus since I don't drive and a cab home back to St. Paul.

Hey where is Winona, MN anyway?

I was just in downtown Milwaukee for the first time a few weeks ago for a wrestling show which was awesome! The Bradley Center is tiny and the staff take forever to get you in the doors and there is no hot food and no variety wtf?

yep, I'm 19!

I'm actually thinking about getting there much earlier than before. Judging by other posts in the forum, it's better to try and catch her before the show. I think I'll plan on getting to the Center around 5 - no later than 5:30! I'm hoping to have a friend walk around with me (he's older than me, so you won't feel completely left out! ) before the show, but if any of you want to meet up too, I would definitely be up for that! I have no idea where she's staying, I don't know the MPLS area at all.

I also have no idea what I'm wearing... Jenny, and anyone else, if you want to PM me or email me maybe we can talk some more about meeting!

Winona is about 2 hours south of the cities. It's right on the river, about a half hour outside of La Crosse and ~45 min. east of Rochester.

And yeah, the Bradley Center can be a pain I saw her there last month, and the parking situation was absolutely ridiculous. So many people and not enough room. But for Céline I think it was worth it!!

OMG I just picked up a ROW 1 Seat in the inner circle catwalk!!!  
I have never been front row for anything oh yeah woo!!!
I hope I get some Celine attention in some way while I'm right there.
There are so many front rows.

I really don't know how fast I can get down there, but my guess would be
6:00 I got downtown to Tina Turner at 6:40 and it would have been 6:20 had I not dined in.
Then I stood in line until 7:15 and the show was suppose to start at frickin' 7:30, but started at 8:00
because so many people were still trying to enter the building or get back to their seats.
They really need those line dividers because people cram in from all angles into 3 doors.
They have really awesome cheesecurds and I just found out about burgers and fries.
I just haven't been to any concessions there for a really long time, because I usually eat before going
to save money. I want to get at least one souvenir even though it won't come out of the closet unless I want to look at it.

Now that I will be up front I need to make a little sign to get Celine's eyes to look my way just for an instant.   What to put... I will bring some glow sticks too.

This is my Celine concert dream come true.

I contacted the Target Center and they said their million dollar acoustical upgrade
is 80% complete and is expected to be done in time for Celine.
i already noticed a huge improvement. I went to see American Idol in August and it
was not sounding too great compared to Tina, but Celine will be the first show to
kick of after this upgrade nice!

They also told me there are 30 seats across in floor four, but
the closest to the catwalk is seats 6-25. I got seat 28 front row, so it looks like I'll be on the corner
which I hope isn't going to have me looking at the band on stage blocking my view of Celine when she is on the other side of the stage. I don't care all that much about the light up stage
I just want my eyes on Celine like the song says.

choir sweater. A band member's mom made these for the band and choir, and she works doing embroidery. Check out the back. I could have any name on it I wanted.

half price, but I can be flexible. This is the first ticket I bought before I upgraded to front row.
I just don't want it to go unused and it would be a waste of the money I spent
$65.04 was the total.

I need names and seat locations for the people I don't know at all
which is all but one on this forum so far.

I plan on being at 1st ave and 7th on the corner waiting for Celine where most celebs come out
accross from the pub in the garage. There is also a back entrance around the corner, but nobody ever waits there unless they see someone go back there.
My bus gets me downtown at 4:45 or 5:03 2 options if I miss one. Then I have a few blocks to walk.
Then when those doors open I will over by the entrance that is closest to the pop machines in the lobby.
I don't even have hardly any time to grab food I'm gonna be so hungry.

My new seat:

Floor 4 Row 1 near one of the ends beside the catwalk where those who got packages
I thought were the only ones who could get those seats!           

I'm going to have some glow stick bracelets too because those are so cool looking.

If you say that's where most of the celebs normally come out then that's where I will be too... but if she comes through a different door I'll be blaming it on you! (jk!)

I should hopefully be there by 5. Like I said I'm coming from Winona and the furthest north I've driven in MN is Inver Grove Heights so I hope I don't get too lost. But I plan on leaving at 2 so I should make it there on time!!

I will be where the fans are standing Amanda.   I'll send you around the corner to check the other side lol j/k.   The back is only a few feet away from the area we will be at and it is a curved road where cars have to drive all the way around anyway.

Inver Grove Heights is far from here.
At least our precious bridge is back up and a small bit of construction is only for a few blocks
down there and it is to expand lanes for busses and make traffic a little less crunched.
Parking is there on 7th near the back but it is hard to make the sharp turn to get in there without cars
rushing at you. There are endless one way streets and we have a lightrail that is like a trains on the street. Stay safe. It's a great idea for everyone to get there early. Traffic is really bad for concerts and before midnight in general.

I hope everyone that has posted here meets up so we can just chat all about Celine and whatever to pass the time by. I also love meeting new people.

YAYY for the new album!! I'm not buying the whole thing cuz I've bought almost all of those songs at least 2-3 times as it is, lol... I just bought the new song off of iTunes and am LOVING IT   I'm considering getting the live version of My Love too... do you think it's worth it? (probably a pointless question to ask haha!)

and hahaha oukey, I'll go running around the entire building if it means getting a hug from my Celine!!!

yeah, and I'm definitely going to try to avoid the 35W bridge if I can. I hate driving on big scary bridges as it is, and knowing that it collapsed once won't really ease my mind. lol.

I can't wait to see all of you there!! I REALLY hope I'm by some hardcore Celine fans like myself, and all of us, during the show!!! I wanna make friends with the people around me and dance around and be crazy with them. When I saw her in Vegas I was on the aisle, seated next to an oriental couple who were really snuggly and didn't really care about me. In Milwaukee I went with my friend who is only kind of a Celine fan. she still thinks I'm crazy lol. and on my other side was some old guy who kept on giving me REALLY dirty looks cuz I was constantly yelling and there were angry guys in back of me too!! I just want to stand up and be noticed, is that REALLY too much to ask?

AEG Live just announced Celine Dion has been forced to postpone her show scheduled for this Thursday, October 30 at Target Center in Minneapolis, MN. Celine, who has been battling a respiratory virus for the past week, performed the second of two consecutive shows in Winnipeg last night, but left the stage weak and breathless. Her doctor stated that despite antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, bronchodilators and mucolytic agents prescribed for her condition, she has continued to worsen and he insists that she refrain from singing for the next five days, in order for her to recover completely.

Celine's next show on her Taking Chances World Tour, next Tuesday, November 4th at the United Center in Chicago, will go ahead as scheduled.

Celine Dion's Minneapolis concert will be rescheduled for Thursday, February 5, 2009 at Target Center. All tickets purchased for the October 30th concert will be honored on the new date.

For fans that are unable to attend the rescheduled date of February 5, a refund will be available at original point of purchase.

I know she hates to do this to her fans. But her health comes first. I am sorry for the people who planned attending tonight. Dont worry guys I'm sure she'll make it up to you in Feb!
